Auto Wipers, Ohhhhhhh

Owner for 6 months, summer in So Cal, no rain. This morning heavy beach mist, and for the first time, automatic wipers!!!
Then it hit me, OH, they are NOT for the driver, but for the CAMERA!
That is why the camera is offset to the right, to get better wiper coverage.

I have a 2019 Lariat and have never had them auto-wipe but I am low tech so might have to set them.

My only comaint with auto wipers is they wig out with morning dew/fog.

As a 3rd shifter it's annoying in the spring/fall.

I don’t know if they’re for the camera, I had rain sensing wipers in a 2008 3 series BMW a few years ago. I think they’re just “fancy” and therefore part of tech packages/lariat. I was just complaining to @Colo_Ranger the other day that I’d prefer to have standard interval intermittent wipers. Rain sensing wipers are a hassle.

You can disable the auto wiper in the cluster settings, then it'll act like a standard intermittent wiper.

The first time they went off when my wife was driving she was so confused. I like that they are not only auto, but variable speed!
