Install went without a single issue. I only had a chance to do a quick test drive and wow! I’m impressed. I was waiting to come back on here until I had a thorough drive. I should be driving her today quite a bit so I’ll update again
Well you were right, this truck towed this like it was nothing. Extremely impressed. Even going up very steep grades she handled it like a champ. 100 degrees the entire time and 250 miles.
I know right? Lol… Never thought me wanting to use stock filter would be so controversial haha
I will! Super excited to try it. Get it Saturday. My biggest hope more than anything else is that the transmission gets smoother. That’s my only complaint with my truck
Stupid question, but are all these tranny failures happening only on the 2019 models? I have a 2021, shifts like crap and have had a few occasional hard thumps. I plan on keeping it forever. I really hope mine doesn’t explode. I love this truck. Getting the Ford tune installed this weekend...
Look brother I’m no engineer, by any means, but logic would tell me, you can either have amazing airflow or amazing filtration, not both. Living in Las Vegas, it’s DUSTY AF here, and how often I go to the desert, I prefer maximum filtration at the expense of some airflow.
I’ve seen plenty of tests online. The K&N always has superior airflow yes, but also let’s in a lot more crap through.
Not scientific but gives you an idea
I need a new front right CV axle. Long story short, last coilover install my buddie messed up the threads where the axle nut goes to. Took a lot of force to get it fully tightened. I am getting ready to install new coilovers and I guess I should also replace the CV axle.
Having a hard time...
Thanks. I’m gonna be towing a 1999 E430 instead of the van. Weight of the car is 3,640, plus what 2,200 for the auto transport? Think I’d be good? I have 5100 Bilstiens in the back
Hello Ladies and Gents.
Finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Ford Performance tune.
I wanted to ask what to expect? Anything I should know before I proceed? I know I will make sure battery is fully charged and use 91 from now on.
My truck is stock except for slightly bigger tires...
