So I have confirmed this with them and you may want to get ahold of them because they have only got me scheduled and I would prefer you not to get disappointed with you and long range having missed communication.

I'm curious as to where the extra capacity comes from. Is the tank stretched front to rear, or side to side?

So some of it will go forward some of it will go down a little bit and hopefully not too much and some of it also goes up. The Australian Engineers had to do some reworking for the u.s. Rangers fuel tanks because the fuel pump assembly is different then the diesel models

I'd pay the $2K for one with just enough range to not hang below the frame rails and if it's metal I'd like to be able to add a nice fat (plastic) plate on the bottom like the factory "skid" plate.
+1. I'm not ballsy enough to have gasoline hanging out like that.

Just remember guys the picture you are seeing is the install on a diesel. Just wait another few weeks and we will have better pictures of the new tank installed on a gasoline truck.

Yeah, just realized the truck on their product page didn't look quite right.

Just for the heck of it a tank made to butt up against front of bed that measures 58”W 18”H 10”D would hold 45 gallons. This also places the weight central on the frame. That’s 377lbs plus add the weight of the tank.

that’s a box tank. Easy to fab out of diamond plate. Need a few baffles to control slosh. Could even pipe it into trucks tank.

That is a pretty hefty price tag, but I do like the added capacity. Though I too worry about how much of the tank would be exposed. Hope they consider something along the lines of 25 gallons.

As already stated above just wait a few weeks to see installation photos. This will be happening in 2 weeks. I know most of you worry about the slight hang but then again if that is your concern get a lift instead of a leveling kit.

IMO, that’s about 4 times more expensive than it needs to be to appeal to many buyers. Makes a couple of 5 gallon jerry cans look pretty good.

Lol and yet you need a special adapter(funnel) in order to use a jerry can with the capless fuel system!!!

Yeah I have been talking with them also. There was no miscommunication.
