2020 with 91k, no real issues. The main trouble spot is the transmission but I'm of the opinion that you either get a good one or you don't.
The only thing I had to fix early was new rear brakes at 40K because the caliper sliders stuck.
Still have the OE front brakes and with the hills we have in PA, that's unheard of here.
Replaced the rear shocks myself at 50k. It took a little over an hour.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Yeah, no real issues other than that broken wire in the steering column and the "bucking/surging" issue. Both fixed under warranty.
And I am the first to say there is no perfect vehicle on the market.

I just know I am moving on by the end of the year to something different. Maybe a 6g but, I am getting out of this 21. I've said it before; I hold no emotional connect to a car or truck. No names, I do not stop and stare at it. It's just a transport machine to me.
Please don’t let your truck hear you say such things.

Poor widdle Ranger.

Just turned 120k on odometer and runs like new. Still on second set of tires, replaced brake pads and turned rotors all around, replaced serpentine belt/tensioner/spark plugs @ 100k, new Duralast AGM USA battery, and two sets of wipers. Mobil 1 full syn oil changes every 8k to 10k, and made sure to never ever change any other drive train fluids. This year she'll get trans, diffs, coolant flushed and replaced.

I wish I could be that way. I always get attached to vehicles.

This has been a great thread, thanks for showing that not every single ranger has bad driveshafts, exploding trannies, oil issues, or bad tailgate (well, I'm in the @AzScorpion brainwashed camp that the damper fixes that glaring engineering fault).

Up until this thread, I had !00K miles worth of worry with only 8,500 miles! =D

But I do have me some good tire pressure and blinker fluid is topped off! =p

I'm at 43,400 just put on a set tires I bought in 2022 for my 2020 and I have not issues. I'll need breaks for my next service but that's normal. I;m the second owner of my truck. I plan on keeping this to 110k then will order my next truck

Thanks for reminding me, I had to put the tom woods 1 piece driveshaft in at 5k to get rid of the launch rumble it had from day one.

I'm just at 30K plus change, so my experience doesn't count.
I'm trying to get ahead of the known serious issues with a catch can, PPE trans pan new filter, Mike's trans dipstick, and LubeGuard.
10R80 concerns me, but I don't know the failure rate among all Fords and Chevys that use it. I read about the failures which tends to make me think all are flawed and waiting to fail. But it could be a design issue where certain tolerance stack ups cause failures, and others are just fine. Finding failure rate data isn't easy.

I'm a little over 50k now - I've owned mine just over 6 years now - paid off. I think (and sometimes worry) about the transmission, and consider getting a new one which seems like they've finally figured out the problems - but then I realize I will have to re-do all my mods to the truck. I really like my truck how I've got it set up - so - I figure worse case is my transmission does fail at some point and I have to get it fixed. My plan is to take it to a local well respected transmission shop to get fixed - even if it costs me 5 or 6k, I figure I'd spend much more than that to buy a new truck and get it setup like mine is.

I will be installing a PPE pan soon and doing another fluid swap with more lubeguard.

Update... I hit 100k yesterday while towing my 15yo son's new to him, that he saved up and paid for, zero turn lawnmower. Not a heavy load but it was the first time I've towed with it.
