I’ve had two cars with paddle shifters, including my current Passat (I’m pretty sure Passat is German for Camry ?) - paddle shifting is definitely a lot of fun - both were triptronic transmissions which prevent downshifting to gears that would “throw a rod” and zeroed out when you came to a full stop but you have to be on top of it when upshifting - no forgiveness.Eventually we’ll find an aftermarket paddle shift steering wheel that won’t break the bank. Then let the real good times begin!
It would be a blast to have this on my XLT.
