  1. What are you guys towing?

Towing I get 13-14 mpg. Not towing, I get 22. All around average mpg. I have not taken it on the highway for a longer trip yet so I don't know the highway mpgs. I will admit that I drive it very conservative and rarely speed or jack rabbit start. The few times I have, it certainly reflects...
  2. What are you guys towing?

I have a 2025 XLT with the 2.7L. I tow a 21', 6,000 Lb camper. The 2.7 is a GREAT option for towing. 400 lb ft of tq makes a clear difference over my previous 2019. Love this truck!
  3. Report your MPG

I recently upgraded my 2019 Ranger to a 2025 Ranger with the 2.7 L. I'm very happy with the mpgs. I average 22 around town. I haven't taken it on a long highway trip so I'm hoping for better than the advertised 23 mpg. I have towed a 6,000 lb camper and gotten 14mpg with that. The 400 lbft...
  4. No, Not Again!

The lock sucks. It was electric to work with the truck key fob. It's been repaired/replaced several times until the warranty ran out. It also has a key but that has never worked. The struts are also bad. I have to push the door up because it won't go up by itself. Lastly, I had the roof...
  5. Tacoma is not so reliable as folks think

Engine is good for that reason. My buddy's Tacoma has had the tranny replaced, along with countless bearings and U-joints to include the drive shaft . Oh yeah, he's had it painted several times as well. The same with all his Tacoma's he's had Yeah, they're reliable.

  7. Truck "bucks" at slow, steady speeds

Update: Bucking problem resolved. So, you all know my frustrating experience. Recap: The dealer had my truck for a few weeks. They drove it, and diagnosed it. They determined that it was a bad torque converter. 57,000 miles. I told the service advisor that my "guys" all agreed it was the...
  8. Truck "bucks" at slow, steady speeds

Follow up: I just had the torque converter replaced in my truck and it did not solve the problem. It's still bucks at slow, steady speeds. Other than that one issue, it runs fine in every other circumstance. Shifts fine, tows fine, runs fine. Very frustrating
  9. I'm gonna need this motor... in a Ranger.

They need to make it AWD so it sticks to the road like glue! LOVE my Edge ST!
  10. Truck "bucks" at slow, steady speeds

My dealer is telling me it's the torque converter. They tell me they have to open it up to verify but they've had it for a week and haven't taken it apart yet. Every day I call them for an update they tell me they will have it on the rack "tomorrow". Every day... Tomorrow. I'm picking it...
  11. Ford Wants To Force You To Not Speed

This reminds me of my insurance company that gave me an option to install a device to check my driving so I could get a lower insurance rate. I had it for about a week and I tore it off because it was telling me I was a horrible driver when the following situations were actually happening: 1...

  13. Bronco issues?

I bought the first year Ranger (2019) however, I knew it was current around the world and the 2.3L was tested. This Bronco issue is engine related but again, it's a common engine. Not good news
