A good set of tires will make way more difference than a front diff in my opinion. I put 32 inch all terrain Toyo AT3's ( https://www.toyotires.com/product/open-country-at3 ) on mine and the difference is shocking. I don't do any crazy off roading so I have the 4x4 Sport package with 4H, 4L...
Gotcha, yep that makes sense. Thanks for sharing. It’s similar with mtn biking how when you shift gears going uphill you want let off just a bit to release the tension and then shift. Maybe it’s the same, doesn’t hurt that’s for sure.
So my question is do you have to be at a dead stop to shift it from Drive to Sport? Or is it recommended? I’ve done it on the fly on the freeway but I’m not sure if that’s good for the engine or not. I have a Subaru that has 2 different sport modes but they’re buttons and you can just push...
How do you turn it off? I've gone into the settings but only see how to change the sensitivity level rather than to just turn off lane assist all together. It's way to sensitive even on the lowest setting.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm actually visiting family in the Gilbert area. That's a great deal and I like to support veterans. Booked an appointment today.
"to protect the...uh...bed liner." haha that's hilarious. But I've thought about using rubber mat on top of a spray in liner as well. That would be much more friendly on golf clubs in the bed etc. I don't yet have the liner (just spent my money on tires and wheels) but when I do I think I'll...
Those bumpers look awesome, nice and mean looking. Goes well with the Raptor grille too. I have the Raptor grille but was looking at the lower front bumper area wondering how to make it look better. This would do that for sure. Thanks for sharing.
First time truck owner here. Researched midsize trucks for 2 years. Test drove the Ranger and it was game over, love the engine. Bought the dealer demo with 1k miles on it a couple weeks ago and it’s perfect.
I fell in love with the Ranger and I smile deep in my soul everytime I see it in my...
Thanks for the information, that’s extremely helpful. I’ll look for a Brakes Plus, not sure if we have those in Utah or not. Thanks for the headlight video tip. Good stuff ??
I understand the greasy finger thought but that’s usually after quite a bit of time and touchage. I’m going to try some of the Back to Black stuff and see if that helps. Maybe certain climates help or make it worse. Weird.
Just got mine this month and the I noticed the slightly inconsistent coloring on the black door handles too. My XLT was the dealer demo and had 1000 miles on it so it's been "handled". They must have gone cheaper with the plastic material this time around which is unfortunate because I do like...
First time Ranger and truck owner here but I’m loving my new Ranger. What an absolutely awesome truck!
Excited to do some mods along the way. Added the black tailgate letters a couple days after and love the look. Level kit is probably next, still deciding on 2 or 2.5 though.
