I'm a little surprised at how many people are ready to trade in already. You take a huge hit every time you buy a new vehicle and none of ours are over 3 1/2 years old. Mine's not the perfect vehicle, (I don't think there is such a thing) but I really enjoy it, and plan to keep it at least five years, probably longer.

I was going to break even minus my labor I put in installing mods. I guess it all depends when/how much you bought it. We got ours before the big price hikes.

That's true for most but I write mine off for business so for me after 3 years it's not worth keeping it. This will be the longest I've kept a truck in over 20 years and if it wasn't for the crazy times we're in, I would've bought a new one this year. Plus having a 2019 I have all those deleted items most don't have now.:lipssealed:

I've kept everything I've upgraded on my truck and I could return it to stock in a day.

I still have a complete stock FX4 suspension and set of magnetic sport wheels in the storage building, just in case.

Well, maybe excepting the rear bumper. That was a lot more of an endeavor than I thought it would be.

Yeah, no recovering the time spent. But even if I did trade it in the minimal difference between what they would give me stock vs what they would give me with my mods would make it worth my while to return to stock.

I'll do you one better Steve, I'll take all 6 out and send them to you. Of course I'll take the engine cover (it's going to be a collectors item one day) and mount the damper on a plaque on my desk.?

Yes planning on selling a year after the ineos grenadier comes out. Truck has had multiple issues, between this and my last ford and all my families experiences with US made vehicles, I’m ready to move on to european, South Korea, or japan. I’ll miss it though, but I dont have the confidence in the big 3. wont leave the forum though, to many funny people on here.

Thanks...only need two....spread the rest around to other less fortunate 2021 owners ....
As for the engine cover....I think you should hold a photo contest. Prize for the sexiest photo of their Ranger with a Damper (Ranger and Damper must be seen in the photo):LOL::LOL:

Same. I always bought used and for me the only way I could justify a new vehicle purchase was to pay cash and keep it till the wheels fall off. So far so good but I'm hoping the Ranger lasts 10+ years. The practically of a smaller, more efficient (but still comfortable) truck has real staying power.
