Sync 3 v3.4.22200 Update

Update appeared today for my Ranger (with nav). Downloaded, but will not be able to install for at least a few days.

No idea what is included in the update.

An update a while back installed a "Safety" protocol in Carplay where you couldn't browse playlists while moving. Extremely frustrating since it worked fine before the update.

A later update restored functionality to where you could browse favorites.

My Ranger no longer showing in the Ford Pass app, its listed in the account section, but is a no show under 'Vehicles' or anywhere else, only vehicle showing is my 2016 F53. Checked hot spot and wifi both working as expected. Anyone else see this?

This happened to me too and now I just don't update anything anymore. Works fine as is.

OK Kent, thanks, mine is still on the fritz, I will delete and re-install, maybe that will reset it.

I downloaded Sync 3.4.22200 from CyanLabs today, but I will wait to install the update. Waiting to see if other's install was successful.

I installed the update on October 25th. Took about 35 - 40 minutes.

Had to delete my vehicle and then re-add it and do a complete setup but it’s back working.

Did mine today, took about 30 minutes. Only issue was my phone wouldn't connect. I tried deleting it from Sync and repairing but it wouldn't let me until I did a master reset. All is working fine now.

Only thing I noticed is when you select the diamond pattern background in night mode the background is grey. Kind of nice to break up all the blue.

I updated mine this morning, took about 15 minutes. No noticeable problems yet or as expected no visible changes. Tried to upload the log file and kept getting " Upload Failed. Please Try Again.". Oh well...I'll try again later.

Had the same issue. Every time I apply an update I have to do a master reset.

Yup, went well (for a change).

Same. No issues. No loss of the Canadian abilty to browse music, or use the map, on the move.

In fact, loading from start seems to be very snappy.
