I do the Rubicon once or twice a year (fishing at Bucks Lake) and it is needed going thru big sluice, but other than that spot most of the trail can be 4H. The punchbowl can require 4L if it's raining or snowing.
I used Auxito M3 9005 LED's, had the sharpest cut off I have seen, Very little to no scatter and nice and bright, puts the OEM to shame. I was careful to set to 2" below listed height @25' so not to blind anyone. Plus at night I always stop far enough behind someone so as not to light up their...
I replaced my battery and reset the BMS myself, I refuse to take my truck to the dealer for what he laughingly calls 'service, if I can't do it myself I have a independent shop that is good, and fair.
I have a 5-star on my MH, a re-ship, but I rarely drive it here as a full tank gets me out of state. I have a Ford tune on my Ranger as it is legal here. I have nothing bad to say about CARB, they have really cleaned up the air out here, used to not even be able to see downtown from the buttes...
I am on the latest version of sync3 and the app. but it has been working all along, never an issue, other than not being able to input service info any longer (sucks). As for the Trailer check light check I was excited to see that in the update notes until I realized it only shows on Sync4...
Oh, I really like my Ranger, but 7 years is about as long as I keep any vehicle (when the extended warranty runs out) and we have been discussing a EV to replace both vehicles as our driving habits have changed now that neither of us work.
I am more worried about the curb weight, which has not been included in any spec releases so far, thinking it will be to heave for my 7000 lb tow hitch. I did reserve on at reveal.
We have a 6KW Solar system at home, so from spring to late fall I will be able to charge at home from solar. We rarely drive more that 300 miles anywhere except when RV'ing, when I flat tow the Ranger.
Nope, solid rear axel with mechanical lockers front and rear..yes! I placed a reservation for the Traveler SUV w/range extender. I will be ready to move on from my Ranger by then, and I really like the EV/Gas combo to get rid of any range anxiety. Besides, I can charge it from solar.
Get a grip people, it's a MAIL DELIVERY vehicle, as long as it does the job and the drivers like it, which they do, why should you care. It's not like they are going clubbing it the thing!
We flat towed a 2006 CRV 50,000 miles with no mod's and no issues. We now flat tow the Ranger, a few more steps but still no issues so far, I added a tow vehicle battery charger for insurance.
I have the one you describe, and like it, but this one is just an offset plate with the U-clamp that applies tension between the hitch and tow bar. I did not like it because the edge is so sharp it can dig a furrow in the tow bar.
