Don't knock the grabber! =DI have come to the conclusion the only way I would notice it lower would be if it was substantial to the point where I wouldn’t have to jump! It doesn’t bug me to much since I’m short so I knew what I was getting into when I got it. It would be nice if I could reach the sliding rear window from the drivers seat though. Maybe I’ll get one of those grabers all the grandparents have to change lightbulbs.
I hated the engineers that would write the words they could not spell so sloppy I had to go and ask them wtf they trying to say. Your not fooling anyone I would tell them. Not like I can spell any better.I have been an engineer for 46 years and my biggest failings are spelling and grammer. Over the years this failing has been a pretty common trait with my engineer co-workers. ?
I was unhappy when I looked at the official Ford website, looked at the trucks on the lot, came back home looked at the website again, it is true, Ford not only lowered the back, they moved the wheels out, I thought "they must have used one without the tow package", no, they photo shopped it, you must not have looked for yourself before your responded, other members here have also made the photo shopped observation, not just the OP.Now I know for sure you are full of crap.

Oh I’m not knocking it, being short I fully grasp the advantage it brings! That was a good pun.Don't knock the grabber! =D
I use mine, unashamedly, to pick up sticks in the yard. I used to be a little leery of it, like I was admitting I'm old (which I am). But using it makes my back less sore, so I go nuts with it.

I'll also use it to shoo away those pesky kids on my lawn! =)
*goes off to order that magical Clapper thing* =p

The head will rotate 90 degrees and I've used it for 3 years now.

ha ha, I see what you did there!! =DOh I’m not knocking it, being short I fully grasp the advantage it brings! That was a good pun.
Yeah it’s not pretty getting into the bed, it’s more. Of a jump and grapple for me!ha ha, I see what you did there!! =D
Oh, and now you're calling me short?!?
Indeed I am, when I first got the Ranger, it was quite a site seeing me trying to get in the thing! Grabbing the steering wheel, hiking my foot up into the cab (that was a heck of a hamstring stretch for me), and then an awkward hop, yank, and flop!
And getting into the bed? Lord have mercy, even with the TrekStep, it's still a challenge. I'm no Jack Lalanne! =D

Nah, I like to think big! =DA step that folds out from under the bed - that would be the ticket!.
The flaw... it's not a Ranger! In six months..... on some Frontier forum.... "I sold my Frontier for financial reasons, and this design flaw..."
Readily agree, they wanted to lead the towing capacity so the rake allowed that to happen, my 4x4 F150 had the same rake and towing package.I think the height is part of having class leading towing and payload. Jist my thoughts. Also enjoy your nissan. American auto manufacturers can build a solid truck not car. Opposite holds true for any foreign manufacturers in America.
