Ok I wonder why people pay to get this auto start/stop eliminator when you can just unplug the top negative little plug on the negative battery terminal to do the same thing. I saw that on Utube. Works frigging great.
Hi Mark,

For those of us that want our electrical system/charging system to be stock, the $80 is well worth it.

best,
Phil

Degloving the driver's seat and removing the nylon rod holding the lumbar support springs together. Also disconnected the cable. That seat was making me think about selling the truck.

Removing that plug disables other features of the truck, like the smart battery charging. Some people don't mind that, and if you're one of them, then more power to you. However, there are also people (myself included) who would prefer to keep these systems functioning, so the extra $80 is a worthwhile investment.

Yup...two bolts that are holding the trailer hitch on (there are 3). Bolt comes out leaving a captive/welded nut on top of frame. Helps if you have a 1/2 inch impact wrench (I do) cause those bolts are on there TIGHT. Took me 2 minutes to install.
All steel with an aluminum step pad that has a "cheese grated" finish. Powdered coated.

Cheapest I found was Parts Geek...63.98 plus 10.95 shipping. Had it in 4 days.
I can relate to achy old knees so I am looking forward to this. $113 CAD ?? shipped to my door, Sometimes us Canucks can catch a deal after all. Trying to import it myself from DeeZee would have been over $130 plus a couple headaches.

Hmmmm, should I have mentioned I kinda know Dave @AzScorpion and maybe a better deal would have come along???
