I recently fell into the damper cesspool, I thought "I like to lift the handle and walk away" well, my damper is quiet in the cold, no screaming, but damn it's slow, I pop the handle and go make a sandwich, drink a beer, then by the time I'm done the tailgate is just getting to fully open, if it's really cold I can squeeze in trolling here for some new damper post, the only screaming is me going "It should be progressive, fast at first with a slow stop" but I guess I'm asking a lot.

Mine drops in 1.5 seconds in the summer, 2 seconds in 30F temps...how many TGD brands are there? I have the original DZ... ?
