This looks great! Do you have any more photos of the mount closest to the back of the bed?
Been looking for an excuse to use 80/20 and this might be it. :-)
FX4 package is also the only way to get tow hooks! I saw over on the Maverick forum you can't even install them on non-FX4 Mavericks without a lot of work.
For me, its if they give the Maverick the psuedo rear-locker like the Bronco Sport Badlands has. Then I'll probably go for it. The Maverick rode great and was super comfy (back seat moreso than our Rangers).
But having 4-low for off-road was what convinced me. AWD is getting a lot better for...
Yeah, I was really confused when I was reading this...I was thinking "How do you add another 4.5' to a Ranger? Is this some super secret order option I didn't know about?"
For reference [puts on grammar police uniform], the apostrophe goes where you're abbreviating, so a 2022 Ranger becomes '22...
I got the Wolf Haus Off-Road 12V power point, and WeatherTech no drill mud flaps. Bonus: got then while visiting my parents who have a heated, insulated garage (which I don't have!). :)
Well done!
I have similar feelings on lockers! I finally realized that for what I'll do with it, I'll likely never need a locker. I mean, I made it 5 miles up Medano Pass with a stock 2011 4x4 F-150 without a locker. I didn't make it farther not for lack of a locker, but because I was getting a...
FYI, on the heated seats, you can get them added aftermarket by the Ford dealer. It cost me $600 for the front seats (or $350 for just the driver).
I was in the same boat as you, I wanted heated seats (Minnesota winters!) but I really didn't want to shell out the $2.5k for the 302A package...
So, I've been reading all the threads on changing out the stock shocks for Bilsteins or Eibachs. Despite having come from 8 years in a 2011 F-150 (plus 8 years & 200k miles in a Silverado 2500HD for work), I've found my suspension pretty stiff (I've got a 4x4 "Sport", NOT an FX4).
2 questions...
Has anyone tried swapping out the built-in inverter (with appropriate wire upgrades)?
Alternatively, does anyone have photos of the inverter's location in the truck?
I'd love to just swap out the tiny inverter with a 200W pure sine wave inverter.
Hi all!
New Ranger owner as of 2 weeks ago. Just relocated to the big city from the country and quickly got tired of trying to navigate an F-150 (2011 XLT - 4WD - Access Cab w/ 6.5' bed) through cramped alleys and city streets. So went and picked up a new Ranger!
It's an XLT 4WD "Sport" crew...
