Using a maintainer, my original battery has lasted for 7 years. I get the ominous message but put the maintainer on and it goes away. I'll see how long the battery will last and post it when it really dies.
I have the original battery in my 2019 Ranger and I use a battery maintainer which also desulfates so my battery stays at about 12 volts most of the time. When I get the message about "battery saver, turn on ignition", I use the battery maintainer and I'm good.
I just had the trans fluid and filter replaced at local Ford dealer yesterday. With using Ford points the total was $363. The service supervisor said that the fluid was not too bad (38500 miles) and the filter was not too dirty. He said you didn't have to do it until 100,000 miles but doing...
My 2019 Ranger is going on 7 years and I use a maintainer/charger about every 4 to 6 months. We go on long trips for vacation or to Denver to visit son and daughter. The battery is working fine and after this last trip the ASS started working again. But I do get the message if I don't drive it...
I got the Go Rhino RB10 running boards that are very sturdy and easy to install. They come with all the right brackets to attach to the rockers. I like them because they are somewhat narrow so they don't stick from the truck and hit things on the trail but are wide enough to stand on to get into...
My Ranger mileage is consistently 23.2 between trips to town, long trips for enjoyment or on gravel roads in the forest or BLM. That's much better than my F150 hauling the horse trailer..
I checked with my 's service manager dealer if installing a Fitz Stick would void the warranty and he said it would. Since I have an extended warranty, I decide not to install a Fitz Stick since I have 35950 miles on my 2019 Ranger and the transmission is still running fine.
My April 2019 Ranger is also a keeper. I do regular oil changes and do battery maintenance regularly and it doesn't give me any problems except the one USB drive doesn't work when it's cold in the morning. When it warms up or during the summer, it works fine
I get 23 mpg consistently and I live at 5650'. I have a bed topper on my FX4 XLT and I drive back country roads, highway and Forest Service roads. The gas mileage doesn't change no matter where I drive.
