    Did someone ask about lasers?
  2. FX4 Is Differential Fluid change any different if you have the locker.

Of course you can't remove something that's not there, but even if you don't have a drain plug and have to separate the case, always remove the fill plug before you do that. Or in more basic terms, always remove the fill plug before you drain the fluid.

Pro tip - Always remove the fill plug before the drain plug. ALWAYS, EVERY TIME!!!!

And wifi routers can be used as psuedo radar type scanning devices now or in the near future too, according to comcast. Lots of these different tools are independent of each other, but if, when, and who can buy or be granted access to multiple sources and process it through a big enough AI...

And remind him to leave his cell phone, and all other wireless, wifi, or bluetooth tech at home if he goes out. Some Flock stations have RFID sensors now too and can pick up all kinds of tech.

There are many videos on YT of similar situations, vehicles stopped by multiple LEO cars, and half a dozens guns out and aimed at completely innocent people who who end up cuffed on the ground until the fuk is corrected. The arrogance and attitude of this POS is beyond disgusting.

It's not just your plate, car, or other physical markers, but they are also taking images of the driver and passengers if visible on some now, and also RFID tracking of electronic devices on board, such as phones, tablets, and even as basic as your TPMS sensors. Police may not be keeping it...
  8. Drove A Tesla Today

I've driven all the fast cars in one form or another. My buddy runs an exotic car rental. Not always the fastest of a brand, but all rockets none the less. Then I drove his Plaid and it is beyond explanation. There is no words to adequately explain the "pin you in your seat" acceleration. He...
  9. Question?

My current summer Duratracs 285/70 (32.6 x 11.5") have a little over 50K on them. I want to go to 35s, but all of the current 35" optionssuck. There are maybe a dozen options that check 4 or 5 out of 6 boxes, but none that check all 6.Currently it's a choice between Toyo Open Country R/T Pro in...
  10. If this is true, no new Fords in my future

Flock/Argus type cameras and the AI processing it all, makes internal tracking or vehicle connectivity moot for the most part, for city living. This clip is what the US government allowed their contractor to release in 2012. Not just facial recognition, but similar recognition from over head...
  11. If this is true, no new Fords in my future

I get the low interest loan vs making money on investment, but after doing the math on gains over the term, I generally don't find it worth the hassle. 2-3% on declining ~30K principle, vs knowing I don't have to worry about anyone else having power of it, or me forgetting to make a payment.
  12. If this is true, no new Fords in my future

Best way to not have Ford or the finance company shut your vehicle off, is to pay cash and not let anyone else have control of the title. If you do finance, make your payments.
  13. Question?

Never heard of an even number tire width, and don't see any manufacturer with a 270/70-17 in their line-up. The thicker the spacer, the larger the tire range of movement arc becomes, so the more likely have rub on the crash bars. Without spacers, 275/70 shouldn't be a problem, 285/70 seem to be...
  14. If this is true, no new Fords in my future

The Bronco video is really sketchy IMO. I find it unlikely Ford or a creditor is going to shut you down after a single missed payment. Maybe he hasn't made any payments for the months since he's had it and they had enough? The Ford says the app won't shut it off while driving. He wasn't in the...
  15. Famous Dave’s Favorite

Counting calories of the condiment while eating french fries, is like ordering a Dbl Big Mac, Up-size Large Fries, and a small DIET Coke. ;)
  16. Famous Dave’s Favorite

It's Canadian, but from rural Quebec. It became mainstream Quebec back in the 80s, then exploded across the country shortly after. I remember McDonald's commercials showing it, maybe 93 or 94. Originally it's just fries, gravy, and cheese, so not nearly as disgusting as it looks. I'm not a...

You can blame Canada for creating Poutine, but this slopfest is all USA (VT, NH, MA & ME). All of them are just a short drive from NY. For the low prices of $300USD, you could get the full king treatment across 4 weekends, lol.

I'm sorry, I thought you meant the Detroit Windsor bridge. I'm over 200 miles south of Mackinaw. Mackinaw Bridge looks more like 4+ miles across the water. I don't have any references points I can see at that distance, but gauging the short view, I'm guessing we are probably similar smoke to that.

That's definitely thicker than it is at my place. That crossing is less than a half mile across. From my beach, I have an open line of site that's just over a mile, and I can see the houses on the far side still. I'm about 30 miles north of that bridge, but as the crow flies, Detroit is closer...

Congrats on your new build! I don't know about living in AZ though. I know it's beautiful and lots of things about it I like, but the heat is not for me. I'm in Canada and wear shorts most of the year. The only time I wore pants this last winter was while I was at work and didn't have a choice...
