Thanks for the heads-up, Todd. I too noticed that the upgrade process didn't generate the XML file. I attempted to re-install the update, but to no avail.

The xml file is a waste of time. Manually scan for updates and the update will be recognized as complete.

Bugs: No Travel Link or traffic info - major screw up
Fixes: The map for Nav stays on 3D and auto now. Or where ever you set it I guess.
No Travel Link and traffic is unacceptable. They broke it on the last update and it is still broken.

My way around this is to install via Flash drive..complete install and then scan for updates using OTA wifi.. You "should" then get a "you're up to date" message. Then when you go back to the website it "should" show you're up to date.

Updated mine today via flash drive. I did not get the xml log file. Truck said updated will take effect next time you start vehicle. Am I ok?

A couple months ago, my truck started being really irritating with voice stuff. I'm pretty sure it's not a Ford thing, and that it's Android Auto instead (or possibly on the apps I'm using, but I'm suspecting Android Auto). It did start up sometime around when one or more of the Sync updates hit, so I'm not entirely sure. But man, are some of them frustrating. It's hard to file bug reports when you're not even entirely sure what software is bugging. Is it Sync? Android Auto? Waze/texting/whatever?
When I voice navigate somewhere on Waze, instead of saying "Ok, do xxxx" it says, instead, "Oklahoma. Do xxxx." That's probably the least annoying one.
Also on Waze, it stopped responding to "Go Home" even though a "home" address is set and it previously responded correctly to that command. I'm using Google Maps instead right now because in addition to that, Google Maps retains the ability to navigate if I've parked somewhere that I don't have cell reception when I get back into the truck. That's a LOT of places around here, and it's a major irritation with Waze to have to get back into cell reception before it'll navigate anywhere (even though the maps are saved/visible on the screen).
With voice texting, I get different prompts every time. And sometimes, the voice prompts never happen and it times out, abandons the attempt to send a message, or (best case), repeats the prompt after waiting a bit.

Good morning! Got in my Ranger this morning to go to work and the infotainment screen was dead. First thought was…did a chip die? My brother had that happen on his Nautilus. Very next thought was… maybe it’s updating. Truck operated fine, so went on to work. Left two hours later due to work being slow. When I first got in truck, nothing. Screen still dead. As I started to drive off, it came up! Everything seems to be working great so far. Have I ever said how much I REALLY like this Ranger?! It never disappoints!

I downloaded the new one, but if it hasn't fixed the problems and doesn't appear to have added anything then I will just pass until they release the next one. I don't use sirius or the other features that got broken so I haven't noticed any issues with the previous update.

All good until you find out Travel Link doesn’t work and you no longer have the traffic overlay on the map.Good morning!
