Just for fun, I asked my wife to watch this and told her nothing about what it was for. She is definitely NOT a car person, BTW. She chuckled at watching the colt slipping and sliding, but when it was over, she said "That was very good. I thought at first it might be a Budweiser commercial, or something." When I asked what she took away from it, she said that it Goes Over Any Terrain, and the periods after each letter really helped her realize that G.O.A.T. stood for something. Clearly, this commercial gets its message across.

I think you kinda missed the point. Lots of advertising makes you laugh or entertains you but when it's over, you don't remember what company it was for or what the point was. This one nailed both.

Exactly! Fun, cool little short story to get the emotional side of the brain interested, and then hits you with some features and facts to round it all out and get the logical side of the brain on board. Good mix and match commercial.

Have one on way. Ranger to big for wife to feel comfortable driving.

I was leaving my neighborhood this past Saturday and a new Bronco drove by why we were waiting to turn on to the main road. I'm sure it was the Area 51 color with the white or silver Bronco badging on front and back. I am going to go test drive one. I had a full size '89 Bronco XLT I drove for 11 years and and loved it, should have kept it.

This is why I'm interested in the Maverick truck. Smaller, Bronco Sport size, but still got some truck utility. If I didn't need the truck utility, the Bronco Sport would be top of my list.

I think the Maverick might have worked for us size-wise, as well. Unfortunately, it's not going to be a vehicle that can be flat-towed and that's a must-have for us.

FWIW acronyms are not new to me. However, IMHO one GOAT already means Greatest Of All Time and then changing it to Go Over Any Terrain is a PITA. YMMV
