If this is directed at my post, I initially called it the Bronco Sport Big Bend, please read it again. Didn't see a need to reiterate the name. I do know what Bronco's are, I owned an full sized '89 XLT and drove it for many years and almost 200K miles. Y'all stay safe!
Well, after weeks and months of shopping, I pulled the trigger, I bought the new Bronco Sport Big Bend this past Saturday, Area 51 color. I owned my 2019 Ranger SC XLT for a year, great truck, but ultimately the new Bronco caught my eye. the truck landed on the local Ford dealers lot just a...
This was a problem when I replaced the license plate bulbs with led's on my F150, so I left the Rangers bulbs stock, plus they are more inset in the bumper on the Ranger than the F150 bulbs were, may be why I really don't notice them when backing up.
I did some checking here at some Ford dealers in the DFW area. They are few and far between, but I have found used Rangers like my 2019 XLT, with mileage from 33,000 to close to 40,000 selling for $30,000+. Mine only has close to 14,000 on it. I may take a drive.
Nice! I installed a set of the black Iboards since my kids have a hard time climbing in the back seat. Simple install, took less than an hour, they bolted directly into the factory threaded holes under the truck. May take them off when the kiddos grow up a bit.
I rolled up and placed paper towels in the channel for the oil filter to catch the oil that comes out. Kept it from hitting the floor. Then I cleaned the channel out top to bottom.
I have 12270 miles on my 2019, I changed the oil at 7500 miles, using Mobil 1 and Motorcraft oil and air filters. I also rotated the tires, which I will do every oil change. I will change the cabin filter every other oil change.
