FNG here with 1 week Ranger ownership trying to ascertain which hard tonneau cvr has made the most peeps happy. Since this is a $big$ purchase item for a long period of time I'm trying to make the best decision between two with what is a known about both presently.

Feel free to comment where purchased also if you like.

Xtang 2.0 or the Leer HF350M ?

What say those that are owners of either brand? Thanks. :^)

Well i just had the MX4 installed and so far so good... after they got the install right.

They didn't push one of the rails all the way up against the forward part of the bed so the tailgate wouldn't close. You'd think they'd test that...

I've only had it a few days but it seems good. The drains are kinda ghetto, just two small black tubes that go into a pre-existing hole in the side of the bed. I don't see another way to really do it unless you want to start drilling holes, so i'm ok with it.

I have the Extang Solid fold 2.0 . Happy with it so far. I wanted a hard folder that didnt require a rail installation and was easy to remove. It fits that bill fairly well. Only issues I have seen with it are that there are 2 gaps at the front corners on the sides of the bulkhead where water can get in. Ive only ever seen a small amount of water enter there, and other users have blocked this area with a small piece of foam to remedy it. If you have any questions about it, or want pictures of something let me know.

Basically the same wit the Extang for me, I filled the front gaps with foam and made a custom gap fill for the front as dirt bike knobbies hung up on the stock one with the cover off.

Great cover, very happy. As you can tell by the snow, Ive had it for a while, lol
