Some times it is about location... I traded mt 19 XLT Ranger for a 22 F150 Lariat 5.0 and still getting offers for 28-29 for my Ranger in email. - 18 months later and 10K less. Now they want to buy my V8 F150 for 55K? The "NEWNESS" of Ranger has worn off until the new REDESIGN shows up, I think.
I came from a large chevy Avalanche to having to adjust to my cute 19 Ranger XLT and it was a squeeze. When I was offered more than I paid for it I ordered a 2022 F150 V8 Lariat and NOW I have the right sized comfy and spacious PU that gets 23.5 MPG the same as the Ranger and way more elegant...
Coming up on 1 year since i traded in my Beloved Ranger for my Factory order 2022 Lariat V8 SCrew
with 3.31's and 21 fwy and 17 in town short trip ECO miles. **Actually on par exactly with my 2019 Ranger 2.3 turbo gas mileage.
Much more elegant interior than the Ranger with heated and A/C...
Each to their own comfort level and where you want to deposit your money. My extended warranty will probably out live me. I never bought an extended warranty before but made sense this time and for the price was a no brainer.
I went the other way. Never owned a F150 but came off a 2005 Chev Avalanche I had for 14 years. Loved the way the 19 XLT sport Ranger looked and all the safety features that came with it along with the "Parkability". Ranger handled like a fast Go Cart to me, very fun. Reason I traded out of...
I have watched this video several times and visited the dealer for a battery health check which tested very good. Thus I am using this charger and considering diconnecting the bms if problematic going forward...
SO disconnect the BMS is the anwer? Disconnecting it will let it charge "naturally" as it has the past 100 years on the alternator or has the ECM capped that also? What does "ASS" mean in connecting to Forscan? I am a mac guy so I may have to get a cheapy windoze machine to use forscan..
Dealer tested the battery and said it was good. Both the alternator, computer and BMS work together to NOT let the battery get more than 12.2 - 12.4 charged or 40-50% for "Longer Battery Life" and better gas milage. I give up.
Started a thread like this years ago and now have same issue with my seldom driven 22 F150 V8 voltage.
I have always questioned the validity of the BMS and keeping the battery voltage to 12.2 or lower!!
Where the hell are my sock filled with Marbles? Probably left with my Micky Mantle baseball cards that got ripped up in the spokes of my Stingray bicycle in 1960-ish...
Got you guys all beat with this one.. * I remember when our Primary Doctor in big east coast city made house calls!
Tell me you got a better one than that!
Being in the right place at the right time (recently) for a once in a lifetime combination of supply and demand issues presented us with a complicated yet usable leverage for some. That includes me. I ended up trading my 3 year old XLT Ranger with 11K in for more than I paid when including...
Luckily local dealer here sells at msrp without any add ons, etc, except for on the lot Bronco's... Luckily we got our Bronco as we were an early factory order at MSRP. Got my new 22 F150 at under MSRP also. As an aside... I overheard that they are not happy with the CEO making demands on...
You have obviously not seen the inside of a new 2022 F150. They were fugly now very elegant, beautiful and high tech. So Hi tech that I for the first time in my long life purchased an extended Genuine Ford warranty for $ 0 deductible out till 2029 for $900, before the price increased. There is...
