What is the measurement between the inside of the tailgate and the cover if you have 3 sections folded up (and do you have screw or scab)? Trying to figure out if I should go 3 fold, 4 fold, or retractable to fit bikes in a scab bed with back tire over the tailgate. Based on my current truck I need 46” of open bed. I think 3 fold would cut it too close, although I think I would prefer it, but definitely want to avoid retractable if possible (more cost and failure points).

With my 21 Lariet Screw there is 39 1/2” from closed tailgate to cover with 3 panels folded back.
With the 4 th stood up there is 52 1/2”.

Three panel with the third panel propped up should be really close to that 51.5" on a Screw bed as well.

Got a decent deal from RHR Swag, $950 shipped. I'm really happy with the cover, fits great and the segments lock down very securely. Can confirm that a bike fits in a long bed with the cover open 3/4 of the way. No way it would have fit with a tri fold, I'm happy I thought to check that.
