Pls add me to the lowering list - cheers

From Sema... I'm imagining they removed the rear leaf springs and mounted a rear coil spring with an adjustable perch...

they actually did a one off air kit for this truck.

One of two things will happen. I'm either raising the front to level it or lowering the rear to level.

Add your user/screen name below (WikiPost **) if you want to or plan on lowering your Ranger. This way, we can keep track of each other....since we seem to be the minority when it comes to lowering. :thumbsup:

**Just click edit and add your name by using "@" followed by your user name--a small box with your name will appear below what you're typing, finish typing your user name, then click on the little user name once the whole name is typed out. Click "save changes", and your name should appear on the list.

Count me in! And if the after market guys are apprehensive about the market for 5G Ranger lowering, I represent a segment rarely considered...Handicapped Accessibility. I am a paraplegic that uses a manual folding wheelchair. The SuperCab option is ideal for me as the rear door that opens aft makes it so easy to just roll my folded chair in behind me. The thing is, my 2019 sits higher than my old 2008 4x4 Sport SuperCab, so I'd definitely like to achieve at least a 2"/4" F/R lowering. And here's what I hope will excite the aftermarket guys...Ford will fund (up to $1,000, I think) the modification under their Mobility Motoring program (for new vehicle purchases).

Also, the Minneapolis auto show opens next weekend. I plan on connecting with the after market vendors there and hopefully someone from the factory. I'll let the forum know if I learn anything.

that is cool as hell. i never thought about lowering a truck for those reasons, although now it makes perfect sense. especially with the SCab.

I hope you can find someone interested in lowering this thing.

Between tumbling out the door and vaulting up to the bed, I’ll be in a wheelchair too before long.

It looks like wikiposts might be broken? At least I don't see an edit button anymore. Maybe something else for @Administrator to look at.

I'd like mine lowered, about 2" front, 4" rear
@stevensc
Agreed. Nothing crazy. 4" in the back is likely the most possible without notching the frame and only a very gentle drop in front.

Will make ingress/egress easier and bed access much better

Yup count me in. No need for antenna to scrape garage door frame on 2wd truck.
I added ya to the list on the first post. That brings us to 35 :thumbsup:

Sounds tempting. I would not mind about a 1 to 2 inch or so drop front and rear to make getting in and out of the truck easier. Equally importantly for easier bed access as well.
