$16 on Amazon for new case with blade. Nuthin’ to swapping it. I was planning to just use the pivot, but the new case was lots prettier than old beat up one. Used vice and little bitty torx bit to press the pin out and in. Took a trial and error to get preload right on the spring.
thanks for...
Thanks for all the feedback. Yes I think my blade is intact. I am going to try to use a key fob case from Amazon as an organ donor and swap the pivot to my existing case. I'll let y'all know what happens.
Does anybody know of a way to fix this other than a tragically expensive new remote and key and programming? Can the metal key part be replaced and re-use the transmitter? Thanks
22' Sport-E so it has most of the stuff you'd want to add from the factory (except trolling motor). Twin 180HP Jets. Maxed out the budget, so there was no consideration of 25'!
So 6400 lbs with full tank (75gals), full cooler and 4 batteries. Give the Ranger A- towing grade. it had to go down to 6th to hold 70 on medium hills. Otherwise handled it fine. The fuel dock is where all my money goes with this thing. $6/gal at the lake!
Make the investment ($100 or so - a minimal spend in race car terms) for trailer tongue scale. You should be able to move car even a little fore or aft on trailer and eliminate need for WDH. As pictured I have about 400 lbs on the hitch. I’ve hauled this pig thousands of miles (been racing 15+...
So yeah i figured I needed the crossover. Saw another thread about where to mount it but here is where I ended up. There’s actually a lot of room here, right behind the storage bin. Still needs more power but sounds way better with 6 new speakers. Better highs and less muddy bass. I’m 62 so...
I bought JBL Club 602 to upgrade front speakers on my 20 SCab With 6 speakers. The speakers came with a crossover, but since the truck already had separate tweeters do I need a crossover? The factory speakers have a capacitor on them that I’m guessing works as crossover Which implies yes I need...
Based on my experience yanking with 10lbs of force will pull it out if it’s defective. It’s not “misrouted” as recall states. It was never put together.
I submitted the info with the NHTSA sorta just to see what would happen and I go a call in two days. The guy is concerned since it appears that this safety defect apparently wasn't corrected. Now I have no idea if I'm the only one with a defective seatbelt, but I do know that if I had a SCab I...
I have this exact issue on my 2020 build date 9/20, over a year after the recall date. Maybe somebody found some defective seat belts lying around and didn’t want them to go to waste? The webbing needs to go thru the eye, instead it was just held in place for a while by the plastic housing
I know it’s not just Ford doing it but “enhanced via speaker system” seems a really bad idea. I’m old fashioned but I want authentic engine noise. Thanks.
I’ve seen several posts in this thread discussing octane but... will the FPP tune respond to lower octane like stock? My truck will mostly see light duty but would like extra power when pulling race car (approx 5,000 pounds). Don’t see the need to pay for 93 octane the rest of the time. TIA
Newb question part 2. Do Rangers have Sound Symposers? Deleting it was Job 1 on my 2018 Focus ST. I pick up my 2020 Ranger tomorrow. Just curious.
Cheers
