What oil will you be running after your 1st oil change?

Then why do some of the Dealerships sell it ? The API approved OE and XL line.
Not meant to be a snarky question. ? Not to mention when guys bring the oil in to the dealership to have them put Amsoil in and there is no warranty issues or threats that there warranty would be void if.

And it's API Certified, right? We had this conversation a few months back... and it wasn't.

It's a product that, if used on a 5th Generation Ranger, will void your warranty... that's what I have against it. And I just wanted to ensure you knew that.

As a side note Mobil 1 is API Certified, and therefore won't void your warranty. And it too, like Amsoil, is made in the USA.

I've met people who put $15 000 in aftermarket suspensions, drill holes for roof racks and void warranties like crazy, but they won't buy 100% Synthetic oil, warranty secure oil lol. Not to mention the ones that demand Amsoil for their ATV's, and dirt bikes, yet insist to put Amazon oil in their $70 000 truck. I've heard it all brother.

I've got a $30k truck. Is Amsoil an API certified oil?

My owners manual says don't buy an oil that isn't API certified.

http://www.syntheticwarehouse.com/api_licensing.htm interesting read on it all and API. I like amsoil. I’ve never met or had a single problem with their oil. When seeing the base API and recommended oils by manufacturers it only makes sense why they want cheap minimum standard oils. It’s a business. Cheers

Amsoil is not API Certified. Therefore it doesn't meet Ford Specifications as specified in every2019/2020 Ford Ranger Owners Manual.

The photo's you posted above don't show the API Service SN Plus labels? Can you post up photo's of Amsoil 5W-30 with the API SN Plus Certification Mark? That is what is specified per the Owners Manual. API SP isn't the specification per the 2019/2020 Ranger Owners Manual.
