I was recently just bragging on my 60k 2019 on how smooth it’s been running but, delayed shifts is something it’s always had, especially drive to reverse.
I almost hate to mess with it, or rather have a dealer mess with it.
According to their inquiry hotline this doesn’t appear to be a problem but that is a concern.
It’s a concern that doesn’t bother me since I’ve never had a warranty issue with a battery and actually had some last longer that expected. The battery is also made in Chy-na, like most if not all EV...
My wife has an Outback, we are very happy with it. Several free services included with it and every time has been a pleasure. Ford could learn something from them.
Personally I don’t care who made it.

Warranty is 3yrs but can go to AutoZone, WalMart elsewhere for your battery if you don’t want to deal with Weize.
Looks like this is back on sale.

Vibes and stumbles when new, added a tune and that helped, all cleared up after 30k and premium fuel.
Heater Box failed, warranty covered it.
Rattle in headliner, disappeared around 40k.
Tranny slow to engage in reverse, on-going, 60k.
Radio forgets iPhone is plugged in, reset once a month (?)...
Thinking out loud.
To prevent resetting couldn’t you use a couple of long jumper wires and hook up to the existing battery terminals and to the new battery. Disconnect old battery install new one, remove jumpers?
Or use a 9volt with the same procedure?
Got two warnings today on my screen about powering down to save battery.
2019 with 60k, pretty good for the stock battery IMO.
Better start shopping I guess.
6/2019 with 57k miles. ASS disabled early on and since 2020 its driven 12 miles daily or further. Kept outside under a carport so we’ll see if it makes it through this winter.
