My Ranger priced out to $42670 on the Ford build site. After the $750 incentive and dealer discounts I'll be taking a Lariat FX4 SCrew 501a for $40,591, about $1328 off the build & price MSRP.

Is this a good price? MSRP is $44,100, invoice is $42,194. Price to me is $42,300 plus tax ($1832), tags ($105.50) and processing fee ($100). I do have x-plan through work. Not sure if I should be trying to get even better. I don’t qualify for new college grad, first responder, military. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, just figuring out if I should price shop and how much better I could expect if I do.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. I don't think you will do much better with XPlan, but you could check by using the instructions earlier to login using XPlan - you won't be able to generate a PIN but you can check XPlan prices.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I do have X-Plan and this is X-Plan price. Just not sure if I should be trying to get much better than this (X-Plan) quote.

From my experience, I don't think you will be able to do much better than XPlan - a few people here have, but given the demand for the trucks, it seems less and less likely. The ones I have seen locally have $1000 over MSRP on them.

You can ask and they can say no. What's the paperwork doc fee by the way?

X Plan is capped at $100 or state limit. They may give you a lower price but a $400 doc fee will mean you pay the same.

Like most, I got x-plan. But I did not pre-order, I just bought the first one that showed up on the lot which just so happened to have all the options I wanted.

The $750 preorder incentive specifically states it cannot be used with A-Plan. I doubt the FB discount would be usable but you might still get the college one. Wish I had A-Plan eligibility.

This dealer near Houston shows 60 Rangers on their website, and lists several discounts.

One of the discounts is listed as “other potentially eligible program. See dealer for details.” Anybody know what that is referring to?

Down here in south florida, the BEST I could do was $500 over invoice. Not feeling any love from the local dealers.

I'll wait for a while.
Do they take X Plan? Have you asked?
