  5. How Can A 4 Cylinder Tow So Effortlessly?

I just got home from a 12 hour tow from Michigan to Connecticut on I-80 (big honking hills in PA). I had the cruise control at 71 the majority of the time and it never faltered, never lost speed and I had the AC on a lot of the time. Fantastic tow vehicle!

  14. Why Is This Port in the Bumper?

<rant> I really feel bad for anyone new trying to post on this site looking for answers. It seems every thread devolves into a dampener joke or reference that inevitably gets some riled up and takes the thread over. While I think the dampener stuff is hilarious (well, the first thousand...

  17. Other pros of steel bumpers?

They are also easier to remove and replace with aftermarket solutions than a plastic fascia. A plastic fascia usually has some weird body line on the fenders it has to line up with (along with a not-so-clean edge if removed). A steel bumper can be replaced with a beefier bumper with no loss of...
  18. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

Did I mention I left my straps at home? (I went to Home Depot for some lightbulbs!) ?. So however that thing would sit un-tethered the most stable was the way I was going! Upright would have been a higher COG and it was wobbly enough even on its side. Also, the wheels would not have fit into...
