Extra tiny dump run, some twigs from our last windy night and some old rotten firewood from our neighbor veterans.

Sure is nice having Soupie for this. In the past, I would have gathered these and broken them to fit in yard waste bags. What a pain that was.

Even a tiny dump run puts a giant smile in a 34 degree day.

LOL, it may be nippy out but Cheech still loves to sit outside. As long as he has 5 blankets to keep him warm! =D

I would chip/mulch the twigs and put under bushes/trees. And that rotten wood I'd burn for ash and put under bushes/trees (prior to the mulch). Or if you collect the grass clippings, you could coal kiln that mulch to aerate grass clip pile and soak up the nitrogen leach from the clippings prior to spreading it back over the lawn.

I did "off-roading"

Was going to the grocery store and there was this 18 wheeler blocking the intersection and waiting to the access road. So I put the signal on, drove past the the 18 wheeler, turned to the grocery store. (Left side tires on the road, right side tires on huge snow pile) and finally ran over the snow pile to the parking lot dodging the trailer.

Got some people I know as spectators on the parking lot :)

Drove out to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park for a quick one-night shakedown of my new Escapod Topo 2 trailer. The Escapod was great. I had a nice meal, drank some good beer, and got a good night’s sleep.

Some of the eponymous pink dunes:

I drove back through Zion National Park. No pics, but very pretty despite being a bit overcast.

Busy day, took household garbage to convenience center, used coupon for "the works" oil change & tire rotation at local dealer, channeled my inner Subquark & took 300lbs of old landscape boxes to the landfill. Have to admit, was little surprised how much better it rode with that much weight in the bed, no bounce, good firm ride. Then gave it a wash. Got it somewhat dried before neighbor decided to burn, guess he was afraid of fire getting out of control so he doused it with water every minute or so. So much ash it looked like it was snowing. When he finished I pulled the truck back out and used leaf blower to get rid of ash.

Special Santa run today.

Drove the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) to Burlington to deliver Christmas presents and a prepared Christmas turkey dinner to my FIL. Tomorrow, the Ranger will make the 3-hour trip to my hometown to drop off the same for my Mom, check on the cottage, and return me safely home.

Photo from about a month ago. Picked up the tree with the Ranger. I know the strap probably wasn’t necessary.

Put 6 bags of traction sand in the bed last week. Now it's 52 degrees on Christmas!! Should have done that a month ago if I'd have known it'll change the weather forecast!
