How many miles on the rest of the truck? If relatively new, a new engine may be worth it, but if it has closer to 30K miles on everything else, well why bother.

Wow, and I thought my mileage was down because my commute is only 5 miles to work and back. The first two years I had it, I was only driving 1 mile a day because I lived so close to the office. But my 2019 has 117K on it and is going strong.

I replaced my OEM brakes at 95K miles. One had about 10% left, two had 50% +, and one had about 75% left. I was surprised. I went ahead and replaced them all, but all of them did not need to be replaced yet.

That is option #2 depending on how much it costs, if I can even replace it all. The wires are so small it was hoping to simply unplug it and replace it, but we will see.
