My rotors were fine so I just did the pads. When I did my wife's 2017 Escape a few weeks later, I had to do one rotor with all the pads. She down to metal on metal for who knows how long. "oh honey my brakes have been making a weird noise for about a month now. What is it? " Uggggh!!!

I used the Duralast Gold Ceramic. This was sort of the default options as there were no other options in stock. I had to go to two different stores to get everything. I just hope they last as long as the OEM.

I changed brakes on all four wheels about 6 weeks ago at 90,000 miles. Only one needed to be changed. It was very thin. The others all had at least 1/2 of the pad left. I changed all four at total cost of about $100. Got my parts at AutoZone. We will see how these hold up compared to the original.

The reset works anytime. Most of the times I am resetting it I doing while I am driving down the road. I have noticed it seems to operate better if I wait for the SYNC system to come up BEFORE I put shift the transmission into reverse. I am wondering if displaying the back up camera causes it...

That would be my plan, except a friend at church as a lift in his garage. I will definitely be calling him to see when it is free. Just need to figure out which shocks to get.

What's your opinion... I have a '19 Lariat 4x4 with 96k miles and the original factory shocks. It is riding like a log truck now. I feel every bump in the road and in Louisiana that is a lot of bumps, large bumps, in every road! What are your suggestions? Change shocks on front and back? Back...

My wife drives a '17 Escape. Tried to talk her out of it, but she had to have it. Within six months she could't stand it. It has 85K miles on it now and weekly says she wants a Maverick, in case I forgot the last 75 times she told me. Where is this coolant thing so I can check it on hers.

I did the RainX Endura Blades... lasted 3 months. They were awful. Streaked right thru the driver's sight line too. I went with Bosch and have been much better.
