Worked on my fender flares today. I got these from @OFC Ranger and I'm having to shape them around my front bumper and snorkel. This required cutting huge chunks out of the flares and then forming plastic to fill in the missing parts. I bonded the plastic fillers pieces with plastic weld putty, as well as plastic weld. A little sanding and now they're almost ready for primer and truck bed liner.

On a side note, I haven't been very active around here because I stopped getting emails from the forum. That's how I always ended up on the forum posting. :( I've never blocked the or reported the forum as spam, and I even whitelisted the "[email protected]" email address. And I'm still not getting emails from the forum. Any ideas, folks?
Nice. I've been putting that job off, because it's going to be a PITA, and I have a few other jobs to finish while I procrastinate over the fenders. I'm very much hoping to do it with no welding or additional material, just cutting away to fit around the snorkel, and using some trim to fill the gap.

Cause I hate myself, installed these solo while downing Vietnamese coffee(which is like cocaine of coffee) barefooted in my garage.

Not perfectly aligned but I think it'll be fine. I'm starting to wonder if there's even a straight edge on these rangers...

Now to address what the in channel ones did to the "belt molding".. stupid naming ford. Anyway, yeah they're ruined.
Yes, avoid looking down the side of your truck in your side mirrors at all costs! My old 4g, straight as a die, this one, not so much. Could I take an afternoon and tweak them? Likely. Do I have time for that? Heck no - I’m retired, which means I’m busier than ever! ?

Never understood that myself. That's how you tell from true enthusiasts I guess. Congrats btw
Honestly if by the time production gets rolling out and things are releasing and things kind of stay the same on 6G I may opt to just keep posting here on 5G as long as it's not against the rules.

I've never seen so much polarization.

And the continued misuse of the term price gouging is frying my brain cells.

That sucks Mark - a few inches lower and it would be even more expensive to fix. Take it back to the shop that did the work last year and tell them they missed a spot.

Oh that ship sailed a couple years ago, the first time I took my ranger camping. I often get asked who keyed me lol. Added a few more scratches out in the desert yesterday though. 100% worth it
truck looks great! be very careful off road in a black truck. mine looks like it was attacked by a cheese grater. every little leaf, bit of gravel, twig, or even stout grass seems to scratch the black paint on the 5g trucks. be sure to post some pics!

installed my cactus stickers, 2 reasons for the cactus sticker, first is obviously because of the color of the truck (Cactus grey for the one who didn't catch it!) and 2nd, my late uncle called me his little cactus when I was a kid, because of my attitude and everything else!

if you think it'S cheesy, I don't care!
I learned long time ago that I cannot please everyone and as long as my wife is happy, i'm happy!

I put on my Rocky Road Sliders with most of the work done by my mechanic Joe. 24 holes drilled in the frame for self taping screws 4 per brace x 3 per side. They look great and stout as heck. It took us 3 hours but Joe has a lift at his house for his business A Home Run Automotive which made it so much easier. He is anal like me so these turned out perfect.

Putco driver MOLLE panel installed. I have a swing out tool box on the passenger. Thinking of swapping that out too.

Started hanging ye ol gear up.

Added some of those DRT tie down anchors another user mentioned as well.

Today going to drop that AFE intake and the foam engine cover I paid too much for, wash her up and then the Aerocab markers.
