After reading about the spark plug horror stories, I figured I better get an engine cover. I figured I’d go with the Jcr Offroad cover instead of the Ford cover since they’re essentially the same price. I guess I’d rather pay that much for steel instead of plastic. Pretty ridiculous that it’s even necessary.

Just got her back from the shop, first modification to my 2020 was some fox 2.0's and bigger tires. Can't wait to get on some trails!

truck looks great! be very careful off road in a black truck. mine looks like it was attacked by a cheese grater. every little leaf, bit of gravel, twig, or even stout grass seems to scratch the black paint on the 5g trucks. be sure to post some pics!

Finally got around to checking trans oil level, wasn’t horrible but needed about 3/4 quart to be where it’s supposed to be. It may be my imagination but my wife confirmed that it seems to be shifting better which I wouldn’t think such a small amount would do?

I also didn’t go from underneath but rather accessed the dipstick through the passenger side tire well. Remove the flap just like the other side for filter changes & it’s right there. Lot less likely to burn yourself on the hot exhaust.

Well then I'm slightly more motivated to check it now.

Well, that’s certainly good to know. :)

Worked on my fender flares today. I got these from @OFC Ranger and I'm having to shape them around my front bumper and snorkel. This required cutting huge chunks out of the flares and then forming plastic to fill in the missing parts. I bonded the plastic fillers pieces with plastic weld putty, as well as plastic weld. A little sanding and now they're almost ready for primer and truck bed liner.

On a side note, I haven't been very active around here because I stopped getting emails from the forum. That's how I always ended up on the forum posting. :( I've never blocked the or reported the forum as spam, and I even whitelisted the "[email protected]" email address. And I'm still not getting emails from the forum. Any ideas, folks?

I get emails, but I don’t really pay attention to them. I just get on here & see if anything interesting is going on. :)

maybe someone was feeling angry you won the new wheels and they did not so they hacked your 5g email.

possibly a spam or malware blocker thing is stopping it.

Noice.

I haven't been posting much. Since I secured an order for a new raptor basically everything else on my current ranger came to a grinding halt.

Though the amount of butt-hurt about the raptor on 6G keeps me entertained.

Never understood that myself. That's how you tell from true enthusiasts I guess. Congrats btw
