Understood.
For me, most days "sleeping in" means sleeping til the alarm goes off at 0400.
Today, I was up at 0300.
Anymore I reckon any day without an alarm going off in my ear is a good day.

Today I wiped down the interior my Ranger, vacuumed out the inside, and then relocated my phone mount to the right side of the stereo. This thing does beach duty for my wife and I on weekends, and it had gotten a little sand in it. I wanted to make it a comfortable and clean vehicle for my upcoming commute - I've enrolled my ass back in college! I start Monday. YAY!

Well, I took my black Tremor out of town, about an hour away, and came back home. Realize it was partly cloudy today and it was supposed to rain later today. Great, it is really cloudy now at my home and so the wash bucket, sponges, etc., come out and I start washing it. Dammit, it starts sunshining. So, I hurry up and try to wash it fast and keep spraying water on it to keep it wet. You know, to keep the black Tremor from looking like it has measles, ie., water spots. Dammit, it is still sunshining. So, I get the leaf blower after it is washed and blow most of the water off it. Dammit, that dam leaf blower gets heavy after holding it up blowing the water off the bed cover, top of the truck, and the hood. Dammit, in the process of blowing off the water, I blow my clean microfiber drying towels, all 4 of them off of the back of the truck on to the driveway cement, you know that cement that houses little pebbles that love to scratch paint surfaces. So, I go inside to get more clean microfiber towels and finish drying it. Dammit, look at the time, the dogs need to outside before they leave a surprise on the floor. Let the dogs out bring them inside, get a glass of water, and go back out front to work on the few bugs spots that I missed. Dammit, I walk outside, and it starts pouring rain! Un-Trucking-Believable! Toss the hose and the plastic 2 step stool that I use to reach the top of the roof when washing it out of the way. Dammit, the plastic stool breaks in half, you know the ones that are rated for 200 pounds! Pull the wet Ranger in the garage and proceed to dry it again. Dammit, I hate that black cloud that is following me around today!
I have had a wonderful "Dammit" day. But at least I have a clean Ranger with only a few Dammit water spots. Now why again did I need a black Tremor?????
LOL.... Actually, it could be worse, I could of been warmer but thanks to being rain soaked, I was a little bit cooler....

Hopefully service will wash her, so I cleaned and shined tires only and now I have dirty truck on nice wheels

Gave 'er a good old tire and wheel scrub, AND gave the weatherliner mats a good pressure washing at my beloved car wash. Keeping your *shoes* clean in more ways than one!

Yesterday, took the Ranger to the dealer for the HVAC air distribution box replacement. Left side hot right side cold. They are supposed to be setting up a rental , it’s under warranty, but I am still waiting. I hate dealerships. It’s been 2 days and did I say I hate dealerships, no rental yet. ?

from floor to wheel arch what height do you have?

From ground to center of fenderwheel arch is
Front 39 1/2
Rear42 1/2

Since tire size, inflation etc can change the height as well, I usually measure center of hub to center of fender/wheel arch

Rear 26 3/4
Front 24 3/4

Front has an eibach 3” lift
Rear icon leafs option. 2

I couldn't take looking at the factory wheels/tires any longer (no offence to those that have them), so I bit the bullet and bought new tires for the FP/ROW Ranger Raptor/Tremor wheels I had put on my truck when I first bought it. I switched to the factory wheels/tires a few months ago when the BFG K02's wore out. I probably could have used them for a few years, but just didn't like the look/size, especially with a level ?. Thanks Discount Tires for the nice price. Was the cheapest I found for the BFG/K02 265/70/17's.

Now I need to get the factory wheels/tires back into the pole barn when I get home without the wife noticing. She didn't see me put the Raptor/Tremor wheels into the back of the truck last night, or see me leave this morning. ?

Are those the "Dyna Gray" 55MM Offset? I have been wondering what the offset looks like vs the Tremor wheels with the 42MM offset if so I would love to see more pics of the color in direct light and view of how the offset.

Changed oil.. one of easier oil changes to do, on par with chevy s10s but cleaner.

Only downside is I wish the oil drain plug was on thr drivers side so ALL id need to do is lay in one spot and get both the filter and one plug in the same laying position. Also stripped the plastic screw for access flap, as expected...

No abnormal break in shavings/chunks. Not overly glittery oil... 6qts even seems to be enough.

Took it to Ziebart for the once a year touch-up. Have new truck smell again. ?

I had Bilstein B8 5100s installed (rear) on my 2021 XLT FX4. Took a quick 20 mi. test drive and I couldn't be happier.
