Installed these Air Designs Fender Vents, they came used from a member on here @“Walkertexasranger”

Used my 3M VHB tape, but it seems really “thin” and with the tiny lip on the edge of the vents it doesn’t seem too strong? Is there a better tape to use to apply these, something a bit thicker? I went ahead and pushed on it solid and used masking tape to hold it. It’s like 70 here so it should stick well, I just don’t want these things to fall off.

any opinions from any of you, or recommendations on a better tape to use?

Finished my badges today now the from matches the back! Oh and I added a sticker and matte black ranger inserts… i think I’ve maxed out my sticker allocation… ?
Hopefully this week my level kit comes in and I still need to tint my windows… ??‍♂

I love those emblems/badges. Where did you get them?

Edit. Never mind. I see that you customized them yourself. Nice work.

They come with a really thin strip as well from Air Design / Ford Performance shop. I was worried about how well they would stick. 3 years later.....still looking good and stuck on there. They aren't budging unless pried off.

Dee Zee damper arrived today and I put that on. I didn't realize how much I missed having tailgate assist.

Ordered the DeeZee tailgate damper. I thought I could get by without it, but a hands full scenario over the weekend highlighted the need for it. I had gotten used to having tailgate assist on the Colorado ZR2 I had prior. Can't understand why Ford didn't offer it as a standard feature.
And I like it when I'm in the bed and need to open it.

See ya Sunday at the Damper Cult service ... =p

Got off work at noon......hopped in the XLT and headed north to the Locker. Loaded up 753lbs of prime grade Nebraska Beef! The XLT drove really well on the way home. Back end was down a bit from the weight but no problem! Beef is all put away in the 2 freezers.......
breaking the grill out for some T-Bones saturday night if anyone is traveling thru!
Oh man, that sounds fantastic! Enjoy your t-bones, I'll be living vicariously through you! Yum!!!

Welcome to the club Jason! Normally I'd ask to see a picture but what the heck, I'm on vacation and in a good mood tonight. ?

Tailgate dampers are like a little cowbell. Could always use more cowbell!

After going with 33s and beadlocks my brakes weren't to my liking. I've had good luck with Powerstop in the past so I went with their Z36 pads.

I got stuck on the rears, because I thought the pistons went in clockwise. Incorrect, counter clockwise. So I had to buy a new left hand threaded tool.

On these you have to put a lot of pressure on the piston while winding because of the parking brake. My trick was to remove the rotors and then reinstall the calipers sans rotors. That helped me not have to juggle so much.

I know, I know…on pg. 929, I said I was going to be done for a while. No sooner did I say that and I get an email advertising these Havoc HS2 steps. The rest as they say is history. I’m not even going to bother fooling myself anymore.

I have same ones on mine! Love the placement of the steps. They are perfect for stepping in and d9nt get in the way when getting out.

So did a thorough cleaning today. The other thread on undercarriage get me horned up lol to do a good cleaning. It was not very dirty just some light mud, but once I looked had to clean. Just backed truck up onto my little curb in my carport and went to town. Smooth wet tile makes it really easy to slide around under the truck.

I sure wish my garage was so spotless - it looks like you’re cleaning it in your living room.

Getting the underside of the vehicle must be a Philippines thing. Have you been hanging out at @viperwolf ‘s place?

Speaking of Viperwolf….I haven’t seen him on the forum lately. What’s up Alex? We miss hearing stories of your Everest. I hope all is well, but I will track you down if necessary.

****quickly opens a new window and does a Google Images search on ranger5g for clues. :inspect:
