Filled her up. Took 18.75 gal. Most I ever put in there.
With fuel points, got it for under 4 bucks a gal. Feels good to save something in this madness.
Took 18.75 gallons???
That's.....pretty much a completely empty tank, isn't it?

According to the low fuel warning it was 7 miles to empty! I think she was fibbing me.

I installed my Ford perimeter alarm system, the Ford Ranger front and mid bash plates, the blue tow hooks. She, meaning Lucille looks so much better with the rubber front bottom air dam gone. I would like to fill the middle section of my front hood with the same color blue stripe too?? Not sure where to get that done however? I really like the Iconic Silver with the blue. I saw a mustang that way and it looked totally awesome.

Looks great Mark! :like: You can try a local graphics shop or one that does vinyl lettering for your hood stripe. They should be able to make one up for you in any size and color.

And we know that how, exactly?
?
Oh I have experience! Many times I have said to myself "Just another exit", and the wife hates it when I do that or wait for it to get that low.

There have been a couple "oh $#!T what am I going to do if..." times.

That whole algorithm/calculation for fuel mpg / miles left isn't entirely accurate. So depending on your risk level and where you are, give it a try sometime!

Truck looks great Jeff!! Man, I have to say...LOVE the color. That "navy grey" has always been a fav of mine when I saw Audi doing it back in the 2000's. Clean looking truck!

As for what I did to my Ranger today...dropped her off this morning at Rad Custom Rides (https://www.radcustomrides.com/). It's the shop my local Ford dealer partners with for their accessory and performance installations. Pick her up tomorrow. Having the FP tune, leveling kit and new shoes (KO2's) on Raptor wheels installed. Should be ready tomorrow sometime. can't wait!

A dealership replaced my old cracked pleather parking brake boot with a new not-cracked pleather parking brake boot. Hopefully this one will last more than 6 months before it starts to crack and more than 9 before I have to pull it from the truck and re-glue the boot back to its frame. Otherwise I guess I'll keep playing parking boot roulette until the warranty expires :)

@Jedadiah Is that still happening? What year is your truck? I did see quite a few folks had this issue on the 2019's when they started rolling out.

I've always been paranoid about it but nothing yet on my 19....knock on wood.

It's a 2021. I bought it a little over a year ago. Saw the Genuine Pleather thread some time during the winter and checked mine out. It had two or three cracks and the boot had come off the frame as well. I had the dealer look at it when I was using FordPass points for service and they ordered me a new one.

Got off work at noon......hopped in the XLT and headed north to the Locker. Loaded up 753lbs of prime grade Nebraska Beef! The XLT drove really well on the way home. Back end was down a bit from the weight but no problem! Beef is all put away in the 2 freezers.......
breaking the grill out for some T-Bones saturday night if anyone is traveling thru!
