This is so me. :like: Love the dry here but my skin doesn't.
Isn't that what lotion is for? 😂

I never used lotion until I moved here. 😂

Some Forscan stuff:
-Switched to Ford Performance Logo 😎
-Got rid of stupid double honk when engines running and key leaves vehicle
-Enabled silent mode (dark mode) for when getting out without lights flashing is prudent

I did notice the battery state of charge % was set for 75%. That was interesting since I thought I read they were using 70% from factory. They may be bumping that up a smidge.
I turned on "dark mode" but it still lights up like a football stadium when I open the doors or shut it off and walk away. The other changes I made took (many chimes disabled) and the system says dark mode is enabled but clearly it is not. Any ideas?

Did you turn it on?

I think there were two things you had to do with dark mode, had to enable it and enable the menu option

Then you have to pull it up on the screen in the truck and actually turn it on. It works on mine.

It won't flash or honk on locking or unlocking or opening a door but as soon as you start it the lights will come on like normal. It's basically to allow a stealthy entry/exit of the vehicle.

Yep - I eventually figured out that part. Not exactly intuitive that "silent mode" turns off lights. Still trying to figure out how to turn off the "transmission not in park" chime.

installed these door edge guards i found on amazon. i like that there is no adhesive like the ones i had previously. so what holds them on, you might ask? they are rubber and have numerous metal pieces that work like clips, (for lack of a better term) when ya press em on. and obviously, the metal pieces are embedded in the rubber so they dont contact the paint. i think theyll hold. and no, im not one of those inconsiderate dicks that makes a habit of dinging other peoples vehicles. the first week i had the truck, before i knew exactly how to park it in the garage without banging the door, i banged the door on the garage wall (wooden) resulting in a small chip. this paint is soft

Yesterday washed my truck after few (ok, maybe three) months. Naive as I am I wasn't ready for that! I'm sure my Raptor is practicing sleepwalking (read:sleepoffroading). All the debris, sand and dirt I washed off from her - no way I had got it on her. That truck had to be sunk in the swamp or something similar for that!
Today she had a day off and I took a car to work (that b*** got me few days ago a ticket) and while getting home first thing I noticed the good news about nice and clean Ford truck had spread really well among the birds.

Finally installed the MBRP dual exhaust. Took about 1.5 hours. Looks great and sounds a little louder then stock. Thinking about doing the Aplharex led headlights next. Any one using them?

I run the mid tier alpharex and like them. Better output compared to the factory headlights. Install is long but not bad besides the grille clips are tough to not break one.

Installed the Dobinson 600# leafs today. Install and fit was a lot better compared to OME 2.2. I’ll update with driving impressions when I get them. More leafs, look a lot more impressive. Their shackles are a lot nicer and bushings feel about the same, they are both poly bushings.

Today I installed the Air Design tailgate spoiler, added some body colored door handles, and converted all front bulbs in the headlight housing to LED, fogs included.

Waiting on some high fill primer and paint, so I can prep the cab spoiler and install it.

I'll be starting a thread soon, but I'm going for a Saleen theme, kinda like a tribute to the XP8 Explorer.
