So yeah, after I posted that an hour later we got a "snow squall warning" made a mess for a little while... better now

We got about 3" of snow in an hour up here in Brighton. Fun times, since I don't have to leave the house.

Packaging and directions.

That's how you can tell what kind of experience you will have with a product.

Good packaging gives everything a premium feel, and has a habit of keeping things from being broken.

It just shows someone takes pride in what they are doing.
Absolutely, I was so impressed by the instructions for that little micro switch that I went to his web site and ended up purchasing a Klein bottle from him. I had no idea what a Klein Bottle was and certainly didn't need one, but am now the proud owner of this one.

The paper work that came with the bottle is quite comical.

You had a lesbaru? ???

Jk, I like that idea, honestly and am planning on something similar front and rear. A set of pods aimed outward at almost a 45 front and rear that I can light up when needed for supplemental lighting to the sides of the vehicle.

I'm also eyeing a set of 850nm pods for the front bumper on either side of the light bar for driving off-road under NV ?

Looks like the one that kept trying to pass me on the right today on the highway

I say trying, because despite the gym teacher behind the wheel's better attempts to reenact a Fast and the Furious movie, she failed repeatedly.

I even let her think she had a chance a few times before closing the gap and laughing heartily at the steering wheel slapping that ensued

Let us know if you ever figure out a purpose for that thing; I'm mildly curious, but not enough to order one and deal with international shipping rates & paperwork.

Mostly just an oddity and conversation piece. Something you don't see every day. Note that some models can have colored liquid put in them and be a decorative barometer. Being a bit of a sceptic I don't fully buy into the " closed, non-orientable, boundary-free manifolds " claim. But given all the comedy in the web site and paperwork included, maybe he doesn't either.

BTW they are US based (Oakland Ca.) and he calls it his "tiny home business"

Just a novelty. Not a cheap one.

The shop got all the suspension/wheels/tires buttoned up today :) Top pic is the day I first saw my truck at the dealership two March's ago, and of course today, when I drove home from the shop.

Not bad! first impressions on the construction-riddled road the shop is on was positive, and everything was smoother (than stock...) at highway speeds. I can't wait for everything to settle in some to see how it handles then.
