I can confirm that 265/70R18 on stock wheels fit with the Eibach Pro truck coil overs with no rub, no crash bar mods and no wheel spacers.

Eibach's were install straight from the box no adjustments made.. reported as 3" i failed to measure before lift..

I went with Falken wildpeaks at3w. Set at 35 psi.
Little noisier than the Hankooks im now selling.. also have a vibration.. which might be tires too..

Nice, I just bought the RTR Tech 6 Ranger wheels (+30 offset) with 275/65R18 General Grabber AT/X tire should be here within 2 weeks or so. cant wait

Anyone else have 275/70r18's? Saw Ironmans post and just want to see other trucks with that size. Debating if it's too much or if it looks fine. (I do plan to flex offroad though so it will likely rub good)

That the size i wanted to run, but i chickened out.. went with 265/70r18s.. i think they would have fit but it wouldn't take much to make them rub.

I think i would of went with that size if i hat stock wheels but since i got the RTR wheel with +30 offset i am good with a wider wheel witch i like better for stance

Thanks for the replies everyone. I removed the plastic cover as suggested and it helped until I had the level kit install. The Ranger is looking nicer now.

I love your wheels! I've been looking but haven't found anything just like them. Can you tell me what they are and where you got them?

Hey, so have you removed/replaced the front and rear crash bars yet? Have you started rubbing a lot more lately? Just curious, because your truck has a nice stance and the 33’s must be nice for offroading. Im planning to go this route you have setup.

Update on my rubbing; I found the culprit. So the issue wasn't the diameter of the tire (still haven't rubbed on or removed the crash bars) but my offset. Since I'm on stock wheels (low offset), I am rubbing on the frame (about where the oil filter is, but on both sides) at full lock.

Since its winter I haven't done any off-roading lately so your mileage may vary if you chose a different suspension/tire combo and start flexing. However, when I did Gemini Bridges in Moab (a pretty mild trail by Moab standards) I didn't rub on the crash bars.

I will admit that the the motivation behind my level/tires was looks and marginal off-road improvement. The stock FX4 is very capable on its own, but the most I plan on tackling off-road is some forest roads and the occasional overland style trail in Moab. I think my setup, with the exception of a better wheel offset is the perfect balance of stance and function for my needs.

aww i see, i just checked it out and it looks like both 18” wheels from ford have a +55 offset, damn that’s a lot.

Is this an illusion, or is your truck now "Reverse raked"? I want to go with a smidge bigger tire, but I don't want to go the full 3" since blocks in the rear are not an option for me, and I won't be able to afford an entire set of replacement leafs before I'll need tires..

Are you able to take a picture of your clearance with the crash bar? I have 265/70R18 Falken Wildpeak sitting at home, waiting on the rims to install. But I'm super nervous about rubbing.

With the Eibach coil overs and 265/70r18s i can turn lock to lock and get my fingers between tire and crash bars..

Thats what i noticed when researching what fit and what didnt..
Id get 4 out of 5 fit xxxx size tire..
The one guy that didnt fit would have wheel spacers or different off set wheels.

Have someone sit in the truck and turn the steering wheel lock to lock and watch the outside edge of the tire to crash bar.

Now visualize that tire being pushed an 1" or 1.5" further out and swinging through the same arc as before.. its now closer to those crash bars..

I also think larger diameter wheels will allow wider tires as the spindle tappers inward..
Downside is less sidewall for airing down..

It's just as @Nathan289 says - here's a picture to show you just how it works. The horizontal bars represent your crash bars - the shaded tire in the RHS pic represents where the tire is moved to with the change in offset. You can see how it hits the crash bar.
