AI bot, we're doomedThank you for sharing your experience with changing the spark plugs in your 2020 Ford Ranger. It's essential to pay attention to signs of wear or heat damage and address them accordingly, even if it's before the manufacturer's recommended interval.
It's not uncommon for conditions such as heat or other engine-related factors to impact spark plug performance earlier than the suggested maintenance intervals. Every vehicle and driving situation can be different, so it's a good practice to monitor and inspect your spark plugs and other engine components regularly to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential issues.
In your case, addressing the misfire on cylinder #4 promptly and ensuring the proper seating of the coil pack and boot is a prudent step to maintain smooth engine operation. Your proactive approach to spark plug maintenance can contribute to the longevity and performance of your vehicle.
If you have any more questions or concerns about your vehicle or maintenance, feel free to ask. Safe travels!

The 2.3L Eco has to be down tuned heavy to pass on 87 Octane with a Turbo. They do it bc we Americans are cheap. No respectable Germany bimmer will runs under 91. Plus, you get better MPG and like 10+ HP with a ecoboost. Pay now or pay later. 87 on Turbos should get nuked as a acceptable idea. When the difference in price of 87 and 91 is 80 cents a gallon, that is about $14 a fill up, if you buy 18 gallons. 4 plugs were $23. I will stick with the 87 and change the plugs in another 40K miles.
Looked at the other responses and it seems obvious.. but for our insignificant forum? Could it be NIMH's T 1000?Hmmm, how about a survey/contest….

Actually, Rob and I had a quick chat and a chuckle over this one, so he’s aware. I think those were Mrs. DukeCanBuildit’s requirements for a husband. ???You can report bots so they get removed, I have done so a bunch of times.
Recently came across a job posting that was AI generated. It gave me a laugh. "Must be willing to work all hours of the day and night" was a requirement. Skills required was being able to exercise good neck and back posture too.
I had about 10 uncouth replies pop into my head to this comment...and have decided not to post any of them. ?Actually, Rob and I had a quick chat and a chuckle over this one, so he’s aware. I think those were Mrs. DukeCanBuildit’s requirements for a husband. ???
