I remember that post.
Yes, it IS a truck and should be able to handle things within reason.
Having said that, there is obviously more to the story. Abuse is a different thing entirely and it seems like the guy was definitely abusing his vehicle. The kind of damage he incurred was certainly not...
Hell yeah! I'm super happy with my 5g but it's nice to see the new ones are kicking ass.
A new Raptor sitting in my driveway would be pretty cool though...
I'm not a fan of the upgrade.
I like the old version just fine and don't mind the press and hold buttons.
If they had the gas gauge and the map that shows the vehicle location in the new app I might like it more.
And it tells me my truck is parked? WTF is that all about? I suppose it could...
While I admire the new Rangers (and would LOVE to have a Raptor, hehe), honestly, I'm totally happy with my 22 Supercab STX FX2. Pretty bare bones but it has everything I need and makes me very happy. Plus, it's the lightest version, weighing in at just over 4,000 lbs. so it's got plenty of pep...
Yep, I saw that and it was scary. And they tried to blame it on their truck being an early build or something like that. I know TFL has to play nice if they wanna keep the benefits they have with manufacturers but I thought that breakdown was ridiculous. On a $50,000 truck built for off roading...
I'm really sorry to hear about this. That's awful. But most importantly, you are ok. The truck did its job from a safety standpoint. I'm sure with the way these trucks are holding value you should come out good in the insurance department.
Are you considering another Ranger?
This is my fear...
While I have to admire the new ones, just because, I will say there is nothing on the new ones I wish I had on mine. I'm completely satisfied with mine. Completely.
The new RAPTORS sure are enticing though...
Ouch, sorry that happened to you 😢
Things like this make me glad I got the poor man's lights on the xl trim, though I admire the LEDs, they are very cool.
Still though, I'm sure even mine would cost a pretty penny if they needed replacing.
Good luck pal 👍
I used to swear by Cooper R/Ts back in my Mustang days and had Coopers on my old Ranger too. Great tires. I've been seeing a lot of buzz about the Falken wildpeaks and have been considering getting those for my Ranger when the time comes. Do you think those are a good choice? I want something...
Yes. I'm definitely looking forward to shopping for new tires when the stock ones wear thin. Well, my wallet is NOT looking forward to it but I'm interested in seeing what my options are. The stock tires have done pretty well for me so far though I know there are better choices out there.
