Hello! Been having shaking in my truck seats past about 60mph and not sure if anybody else has had this?

I have a 2020 Ranger super crew that I lifted with spacers in the front and out 265/65/17 ko2s on it in 2023. It's got about 70,000 miles now.

I had the tires rotated twice recently.

I'm thinking the tires still have some lift left in em.

I did do the spacer install myself in 2023 but didn't have any issues. I'm wondering if anything came loose in the suspension or it's a worn out cv?

any thoughts are appreciated!

It's possible the alignment wasn't done right (have them road force balance them) or the driveshaft slip joint might need to be lubed.

Is it just the seats or the whole truck shaking? The passenger seatback in my ranger will vibrate at highway speeds but it’s not the whole truck shaking. With weight in the seat or if I push against it, it stops. Is it something you’re hearing or feeling? Any feedback in the steering wheel? Pulsing when braking? Alignment good?

I put leveling spacers on both mine and the wife’s ranger, there were absolutely zero noticeable changes in how either of them drove. You could always run through all the nuts and bolts to torque check everything but I doubt anything would’ve come loose just from adding leveling spacers. Especially if they’ve been installed for a long period of time. Unless you’re lifting the truck past 3” the angle of the CV axles should be fine.

At 70k miles, it’s more likely the shocks or ball joints could be due for replacement. Did you leave the stock upper control arms installed when you leveled the truck? Spacers change the angle of the ball joints and tend to wear them out faster, especially if you’re doing any kind of trail or offroad driving.

I would jack the truck up and start shaking stuff around to see if anything seems to have more play than normal. There’s tons of videos on YouTube showing how to check for worn ball joints and shocks.

I had similar issues but at higher speeds. Threw on my OEM wheels until I could get my 32” General Grabbers road force balanced. The problem went away.

I had the work done by a reputable shop - they can’t just tell you they can do it - they have to have a road force balancing machine. I also had them do a four wheel alignment at the same time. It’s never been better.

One of the tires could not be corrected so it ended up being my spare (I have a fifth).

Check your rear driveshaft center bearing.

I opened this wondering if i posted it and forgot....

Just had it where the truck would vibrate from 58ish - 70ish... For me it was simply tire pressure. Somehow (the cold?) i was down to 25ish... filling back to whatever the door plate says fixed it after a few miles. Bunch of threads on here about drive shafts, axles, and balancing... hope it's a simple one for ya.

Tires flat spot when sitting and in cold weather they take longer to warm up. My 2005 Ranger with 6ply tires wobbles like a drunken sailor until the tires warm up, then it is smooth sailing.

( See what I did there! )
