I have a 2019 Ranger XLT. 20,000 miles. About 6 momths ago I started experiencing shaking while braking to a stop. This isn't the normal shake you feel when the brakes are bad. The steering wheel doesn't shake, nor does the brake pedal. The shake almost feels as if it's coming from the rear. Has anyone else experienced this?

Likely a warped rotor is to blame.

It can happen if the rotors were really hot and water splashed on them, or improper lug nut torque.

Or by applying your parking brake after a long drive. Due to Ford's AdvanceTrak the rear brakes work much more than older vehicles and get quite hot after a good drive.
