Filled up early this morning and averaged 21.6. This tank was a lot of smaller commutes and probably 85% city driving. Plus it's been colder here so more warm up time.

That 303 really does improve aerodynamics. :sun:

My second tank the truck tells me I got 26.1. Did 400 miles with no fuel low level warning. All stock right now. Believable because my 4 day a week commute is 50 miles round trip with only 2 stop lights and speeds from 40-55 mph on rural two lanes.

Wondering how much it will change first of the month after I add Bilsteins mild level and 255/75/16 tires?

Got roughly 14.5 round trip from Colorado to Florida and back over the holidays. Majority highway driving at 75MPH.

Truck was fully loaded with camping gear plus my roof rack and smaller ARB awning. ARB skid plates, ARB bull bar with winch, 275/70/18 load E Falken Wildpeak AT3's.

Overall, I am not very surprised at this given the weight and lack of aerodynamics on the front end. I just wish I had a larger fuel tank. 14-16 MPG highway with 18 gallons of gas doesn't go very far between fuel stops.

I put a 1.8" level on an 265/70's that weighted 40 lbs each. I don't hammer it like I used to so I only lost about 1 mpg with those changes. IMO if you want to hang on to as much mpg as possible always check tire weight when looking at tires. I did an it looks like the stock tires are 34 lbs an the lightest all terrain tire I liked was the Nitto at 40. LT tires seem to run 50 pounds an up so I wasn't interested in those since I don't need them anyway.

I haven't been driving much and when I have they've been very short commutes. Plus it's still cold here (39 this morning) and you can see how much this effects the mpg. Looks like next week will finally be our first week back in the 70's. :sun:

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Truck not remotely broken in, obviously, but I will be putting about 675 miles on it during a trip next week. (Yea! Road trip! In my new truck!) Certainly won't dog it but I'll not be trying to squeeze out every mile either. I would expect it to be pretty low between being new and the fact that I'll be varying the RPM's often to assist with the break in process. Still be interesting to see the resulting MPG.

When mine was new I was averaging about 19-20 ish. Once it got a couple thousand miles it got a little better. Adding a tune will help too. ? Maybe you can convince the warden that buying a tune will help you save gas in the long run.?

13mpg? It's nice to see you haven't changed your driving habits. lol?
It's all for science and fun :D I have been having slight weird transmission issues as well. I wonder though if it's the adaptive learning adapting to the stop and go traffic these days. Only time and putting down miles will tell.
