Its hard on the system and sometimes engine to let the gas level get so low. Impurities that have sunk to the bottom of the tank get sucked up and thrown in your cylinders
The dealership could barely tell me what the oci was. One person said 7500 miles, another was sure it was 10. I did the first one after about 1500 miles then about 6000 the times after. I have ford do it mainly for the paperwork in case if warranty needs
