I can land a plane weighing well over 300,000 pounds on a runway centerline at 160 mph. Parking a ranger is, at best, a lucky guess.

I’ve only done autoland in the sim. We’ve been waiting forever for our company to get it approved. Probably (some airline tech’s) maintenance’s fault.

Sheeeeesh ! Your hard !!!
But, just took the pic for comparison......concentrate on that !!!
But yeah, what was "fullsize " 10-20 years ago is "midsize" now.
Actually it being a Big Horn edition means it was a 2012 or later cause 2012 is when they started using the Big Horn logo.
They are. When people talk about fuel economy on mid sizers like it should be some huge difference from full size really it is better to compare them to like mid 2000s full sizers which they do get better much better gas mileage.

And the 6G is 2" wider and 2" longer. If they keep calculating CAFE laws on footprint then one day we will be next to our F250-sized 2035 Rangers reminiscing of the days when they were the size of Rams.
2” wider and 2” longer wheelbase. Actually a wee bit shorter (not longer).

No excuses!

:inspect: You're always graded on your parking here. Ask me how I know!?‍♂
None?

Hmmmmm, I’ll have to screenshot that for future reference. ;)

Had to run out today to Wally World. Parked a bit out even in rain.
Came out and this late 90's early 2000 Ram Bighorn Quad Cab 1500, with 5 foot bed parked next to me, literally bumper next to bumper.
Took quick pic (rain) to show not a lot of difference in length tween full and our "midsize" Ranger.

I was at Wally for the Sunday Shopping ritual one time and parked next to a 2010 style Silverado crew cab short box. Both trucks were pretty much exact same size and ride height.

My neighbor used to have a 2006 F150. He said my 2019 Ranger was bigger all around. Yes, he was correct. But there is another thought about "bigger". And that is....

Overall quality. Sorry TexMex fans, but compared to the other mid-sized offerings, Ford Rangers are hands-down the winner!

My son has a 2020 Ram Rebel and his wife has a 2019 Tahoe. When the Ranger is parked between these two it looks like a sub-compact.

The back seat of the Ram has about 18" of floor space between the seats and the back of the front seats and the interior is wide enough for 4 people to sit across. The console between the front seats is twice as wide as the console in the Ranger.

The difference in size between the Ranger and a full size pickup is the same as the 79 Mitsubishi compact pickup I had and a full size of the same vintage.

My wife is always saying how big the Ranger is. Last night we were out to dinner and came out and couldn't see the Ranger, it was parked between a full size Chevy and a F150. It was at this point she decided it wasn't so big after all.

The new late model Rams are huge. I was behind one yesterday going through a light with the left green arrow on and couldn't see the arrow until the Ram was almost onto the cross street...dangerous.

Yeah...all 3 of the major brands have "grown" considerably over the past dozen years.
Ranger seems to be, size wise, about the same as pickups from the late 90's to early 2000's.
Next to the current Ford's and Chebbie's I feel "small".
