Well, if you go by the manual, every 150K, so maybe every 50K would be good.I did my diff fluid change at 10K. I need to do transfer case though. How often should T-case be done?

Thanks. I'll see what happens in the next few weeks.I used to get mine done every 5K at Peoria Ford and also had the maintenance plan. No one batted an eye that I had come in "early" for oil changes.
Couldn't find the correct size for the existing holes, and didn't want to drill new ones, so used field expedience.Curious why you JB the rivnuts instead of the squeeze/friction fit they are designed for?
Yep, not having a garage is a huge deterrent for sure, and my little snarky hood statement was in response to your not so subtle drag on my mechanical skills, remember us boomers are sensitive about our DIY abilitySounds like you have a nice set up. I will do door hinges as I can't imagine the shop taking the time to do those. With no garage and having to haul everything to the driveway and back when done just got old.
What oil life monitor? 5k.Ignore the oil life monitor and get "the works" at my dealer every 5K.
Noice! Thanks.Couldn't find the correct size for the existing holes, and didn't want to drill new ones, so used field expedience.
No dig on your maniacal (mechanical?) skills, just wondered if you actually made that effort yourself.Yep, not having a garage is a huge deterrent for sure, and my little snarky hood statement was in response to your not so subtle drag on my maniacal skills, remember us boomers are sensitive about our DIY ability![]()
Sorry about the typo, as for making the effort, I am retired, I like to wrench, I drink beer when I wrench, and my wife leaves me alone when I wrench, so there are a lot of pluses. No dig on your maniacal (mechanical?) skills, just wondered if you actually made that effort yourself.
According to the Owner's Manual:What oil life monitor? 5k.
I always hated to hear that.Just had mine changed this morning. They (independent shop not dealer) reset the oil life monitor but then placed a “due in 5K” sticker also. I do hate those stickers! ?
I plan on 4K intervals actually.
By the way if you are in the Raleigh area and need service i recommend Motor City Garage. ??
I had them check the trans fluid since I heard most are a quart low. They said I was fine but “Damn…that’s a short dipstick!” ?
and knowing your ethic background, same as mine, that's saying something :^)I've always changed mine at or around 5,000 miles with full synthetic. Some say it's a waste of money but it's cheap insurance and good piece of mind.
just take shorter strokes......I always hated to hear that.
And lots more of them.just take shorter strokes......
