What mileage are you changing your oil? 5K? 6?
2020 Ranger new 12/19
First oil change 10/20 at 1,806 miles
Second oil change is scheduled for 10/21 and the mileage will be around 4,000
I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 and Ford FL-910S filter.

New synthetic oil and Motorcraft filter every 5000 miles, new air and cabin filter every other oil change.
Makes it easy to keep track of when changed.

Don't forget the tire rotation.

First change I did on mine I took the tire off and bought Ford Synthetic but it was like $11 a quart.
Changed to Mobil 1 5w30 after as I can get it for half that.

I'm not one to push changes with synthetic, every 5K is good for me.
And I no longer remove the tire, just get the splash shield out of the way. Plenty of room to reach past the tire. (I have 265/65/18s but have a leveling kit too.)

I've been using the 910s filters, but saw one that was a fl-400s ?
Read where it was just a slightly longer version of the 910s, so some added capacity.
But on some applications, the length is too much.
Anyone tried that longer filter on the Ranger's 2.3 ?

I just go by the computer, as per the owners manual. I don’t put on too many km, so this ends up following the 6 month interval. I (mostly) behave when behind the wheel and trust I am not being too hard on things.

I recently transferred to a new work location. Ford dealership right down the road. Took the truck in on Monday for its 2nd oil change. Handed them the keys, went upstairs and had lunch in their cafeteria. 35 minutes later got a text the truck was ready. Paid with my FordPass points and was on my way.

That’s exactly how I prefer to handle an oil change!
