I've got a 2019 XLT with 8000 miles and have done nothing to tires or suspension. It has a floating bouncing feel around town that I see a lot of you guys complaining about. But, for the life of me, I can't find any thread where there is much agreement on the fix. I thought I would start with rear Bilsteins but can't even find the threads that gave the link and model numbers to them. Can somebody post the link to the threads I need? Thanks in advance. I love my ranger. It turned a year last week.

There are several models, but I think if you go with bilstein 5100s or eibach pro truck 2.0 you'll be happy without dropping a few limbs or a kidney.

Using the 5G search function is quite limited. Use Google search and include Ranger5G in the search. Everything on this site will appear if relevant and makes finding what you’re looking for painless

Yes. Bilsteins 5100 or fox 2.0 rears will reduce that boat feel in the rear by a ton. The front will still have some body roll and wiggle though. Overall a must have upgrade and no brainer to do rears. Others say it’s too stiff sometimes but I love that stiffness on the road. It makes me feel like I am driving and not floating around. As mentioned above, type in google “bilstein 5100 ranger5g” or “fox 2.0 rear shocks ranger5g”

I put Bilstein 5100's on my rear and it made a hell of a difference, especially on cornering where there was bounce. Practically gone. I think I'm going to just put Bilstein 5100's on the front also. They make them for leveling also but I don't need to make it level.

Thanks guys. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the search function sucks. I think I want to buy the 5100s for the rear. Any idea where the best place to buy?

I believe bilsteins are back ordered until august/September. But stage3motorsports sells them.

Best for what? Price, customer service, best website? Just like asking what is the best shock, "best" depends on what you want. Look through the sponsor pages and look at their sites. Stage 3 has been good.
