NA 5Gs don't have the adjustable seatbelts: odd because every other NA Ford I can think of does.
Mine does, they have a vertical adjustment of about 5 inches. Not that I care, have never touched it on my side, can't say if the wife has on her side or not.

The Owners Manual is poorly illustrated and worded, but the steering wheel/column does telescope.

I'll try to s'plain it better:
  • Release the lever located on the left side of the column near the instrument panel by rotating it down.
  • Adjust the column by moving the steering wheel up or down, and/or toward or away from you.
  • While holding the steering wheel in the desired position, rotate the release lever up fully to lock the column in place.
The telescoping doesn't have a lot of range, maybe 3 or 4 inches.
Adjustable pedals would be nice.
Agreed, the owner's manual is riddled with mistakes and misinformation.

It's a bad joke...

To some degree chicken and egg--you can't find a scab anywhere.
Indeed, most S/Cabs I've seen are relegated to construction/contractor duties.

What amazed me about my listing's response is that my S/Cab is red (Rapid Red), the least desirable color in the used car market, I've been told.

Unless, of course the automobile is a Ferrari, red is de rigueur for such a vehicle...

My steering wheel tilts but does not telescope and the seat belts are fixed. I would not be surprised if those were only SCrew international features. Sometimes dealers tell the truth. Sometimes. ?
Check your steering wheel again...my 2021 Lariat has both telescoping and up/down adjustments.

What everyone else has said ...

The SuperCabs front doors are a bit wider and I think (not sure) that the rear leg room is only 5 inches more in the SuperCrew, BUT the SuperCrew rear seats are deeper, taller, and the backs are angled and thicker, so they're far more comfy. The SCAB has straight up-and-down, thin backs.

We only have the two of us and our little dog, so SCAB is perfect for us. If you carry a dog, there's an awesome rear seat mod on the forum with plans, hardware list, and links to custom foam cutters.

Either one is awesome and I'm sure you'll love it.

And I'm a Race Red fan, so the heck with resale and all that nonsense. I'll drive it into the ground (LOL, I still have my 1972 Toyota FJ40 in Vesuvius Red that I've driven since 1976!).

Dog mod:

Edit: saw a guy on a video that mentioned something that never occurred to me, it's easier to load up your truck cab in the SCAB because you don't have to walk around an opened door, but that's a pretty minor thing that I found it interesting.

Beg pardon.

XLs don't, nor do they have the sunglasses holder.

By gawd you are right! It sure does telescope after all. Thanks Grumpaw.

Kind of silly though...I have the seat all the back and would only need to telescope if I had t-rex arms.

Being 6'5" this was a big plus for me. I test drove a lariat with electric seats and then a xlt with manual seats and the manual does give more leg room.
So that seems to confirm it's the electric seats that have restricted travel and not Scab vs Screw.

I really wanted a dark metallic Blue like my '00 S/Cab was and purposely waited until Ford announced color options for MY 2020 in hopes that they would...

Alas, they did not, so I went the opposite end of the color spectrum and ordered a red 2020...

True story here:

My Dad bought a brand new '73 Continental Mark IV and took it into the dealer for warranty work.
When the car was ready for pickup someone had tilted the steering wheel all the way down, he accused someone at the dealership of "breaking" his steering wheel and was hopping mad.

The service manager showed him the tilt release mechanism on the turn signal lever and returned the wheel to normal.

Three years after, I started at that same dealership as a mechanic...we were constantly reminded NOT to touch the radio controls, tilt mechanism, etc., lest some poor customer accuse us of "breaking" their car...lol

FYI, while it doesn't have adjustable seat belt anchors, the 2020 Lariat SCab does have tilt/telescoping steering wheel. My truck has it and apparently, according to the 2020 order guide, it came standard on Rangers.
