There's only one way I know to fix this AS BEST AS POSSIBLE.

The Belltechs are gonna be much shorter than factory, your best bet is gonna be to pull the shocks from the beltech system and take them to a custom shock shop. Somewhere with the capability to rebuild and perhaps dyno shocks. They can measure the Belltechs and suggest a shick body to go with, while providing custom valving.

You're gonna spend about twice as much as a set of factory Bilsteins, and you're gonna be on a rebuild schedule of about 25k miles. And it probably won't ride as buttery smooth as you want.
My problem with the Belltechs front shocks is they are exactly the same length as the stock ones but the have a lower spring seat welded on them at a lower point. This gives you an adjustable ride height, with spacers. BUT NOW the top of the shock body sits much closer to the limit of its travel so on hard bumps it hits bottom! I am going to buy coil/overs with a shorter body with 550inch pound springs and try them, I will report back. Derek

But, your in Canada, on the metric system...
Don't you mean 13 mm, which would be .511 or approx 1/2 inch ???
LOL, I'll exercise some very rarely used self control and not reply as I normally would, but let's just say it would be extremely funny.:rockon::devil:

I'm fine with most of that, but I'll ask them to leave off the anus or give me extra honey-mustard sauce! =D

Was there a bumpstop included on the BellTech setup?

Have you tried asking on the BellTech thread in the suspension subforum?

If the shocks are indeed bottoming out, you're not gonna want to softer than you are.

I have a friend at CSIS who owes me a favour. Maybe I’ll give him a shout and see what he can discover.
